    Trees up to 20 m tall.

    Trunk & Bark

    Bark light brown, lenticellate; blaze light orange.

    Branches and Branchlets

    Young branchlets subterete, glabrous.

    Leaves

    Leaves simple, alternate, spiral, clustered at twig ends; petiole 1.2-2 cm long, planoconvex in cross section, glabrous; lamina 7-11 x 3-3.5 cm, elliptic to narrow elliptic, apex narrowly acute to acuminate, base attenuate, glaucous beneath, subcoriaceous; midrib raised above; trinerved just above the base with ca. 4 pairs of secondary nerves; tertiary nerves distantly reticulo-percurrent; higher order nerves closely reticulate.
