      Shell ovate, striated, covered with a thin periostraca; spire conic; nucleus small, cylindrical, spiral, brown; mouth elongate; inner lip parallel to outer and outer lip rounded, not reflexed on the edge; pillar with 4-5 large oblique plaits in front and more transverse ones behind.
