Description
Erect unbranched herbs; stem leafy, to 1.5 cm high. Leaves scattered, to 10 x 2 cm, lanceolate, sessile, acute at apex, glabrous. Flowers 1-3 together, terminal; pedicel 3 cm long, glabrous. Perianth 20 cm long, campanulate; lobes 6, ovate, acute, white, lower tubular; stamens 6, filaments 16 cm long, free; anthers linear-oblong, versatile; ovary oblong; ovules many; style to 16 cm long constricted at base; stigma globose or 3-toothed. Capsule 3-valved; seeds many, compressed.
