Fans of Shahid and Kareena were quick to notice the uneasiness of the encounter. One fan remarked, “Shahid smiled in response to Kareena’s apparent disregard.” Another fan commented, “She gracefully ignored Shahid, and Shahid, in turn, maintained his composure with a smile.” Yet another fan observed, “She clearly avoided him, wow.”

Kareena and Shahid’s romance began on the sets of Fida in 2004, and they dated until 2007, parting ways during the filming of Jab We Met. They also starred in Chup Chup Ke (2006) and Udta Punjab (2016). The two, however, didn’t have a scene together in the latter. Both actors have since moved on with their lives.

Shahid is now married to Mira Rajput Kapoor, with whom he shares two children, a daughter named Misha and a son named Zain. Meanwhile, Kareena dated Saif Ali Khan for a few years before tying the knot in 2012. The couple welcomed their first son, Taimur Ali Khan, and later welcomed their second son, Jeh Ali Khan.
