These are common in consumer electronics. They are one of the most popular types of rechargeable battery for portable electronics of all kinds, with one of the best energy-to-weight ratios, high open circuit voltage, low self-discharge rate, no memory effect and a slow loss of charge when not in use.

Coupled with a magnetic base, some of our light range includes a multi-angle mechanism which allows the user to secure the lamp into place then twist and angle the direction of the light to get the best coverage of the work area.

A Measure of Lumens The lumen can be thought of as a measure of the total amount of visible light in some defined beam or angle, emitted from a source, hitting one square foot of surface, one foot away from the light. The brighter the light, the more lumens it will have. Our range are small, but powerful and therefore the majority have a very high lumen factor.

IP65 Weather proof

Any product with a weatherproof rating consists of the letters ‘IP’ followed by two digits, the higher the number the better the protection. The first digit indicates the level of protection against the ingress of solid foreign objects such as dust. The second digit defines the protection against various forms of moisture (drips, sprays, submersion etc.). All our lamps that have been tested against this will have an ‘IP’ number assigned to them.

Any product with an impact rating consists of the letters ‘IK’ followed by two digits, the higher the number the better the protection from being dropped, thrown, run over, etc. The codes range from IK0 to IK10. All our lamps that have been tested against this will have an ‘IK’ number assigned to them.

Colour temperature

The majority of our lamp range now feature strong magnets, which are located around the product, usually on the base of the product and/or the rear. These magnets don’t protrude from the ergonomically designed casing and is strong enough to secure it onto any magnetic surface. Coupling this with the multi-angle mechanism, it makes the product far easier to use hands-free and still successfully illuminate the work area.

Colour Temperature Measured in degrees Kelvin (K), the light temperature scale is from one thousand up to ten thousand. The cooler the light temperature (colour of the light), the higher the value. The colour of the lamp can have a warm orange glow, right through to a cool, bright blue colour. Candlelight has a colour temperature of around 2000K, natural daylight is around 6500K.

12N/S TRAILER PLUG ADAPTOR If you have an existing towbar fitted with twin electrics (12N+12S) and you buy a new caravan with 7 pin electrics, you can save the need to modify the electrics on your car by using a twin to 13 pin adaptor.

Towbar 13 pin to twin sockets adaptor lead. These adaptors are often required when you have a detachable towbar fitted and want to tow an older caravan. A 7 pin to 13 pin adaptor is most commonly used when you have a towbar fitted with 7 pin electrics for a trailer, but you want to attach a cycle carrier which has a 13 pin plug. It can also be used to plug in a caravan which has a 13 pin plug. It is important to remember that the adaptor will only extend the 7 pin functions, for example it will provide power the for the normal road lights. It can’t however add the extra functions that are provided by a full 13 pin installation, so it won’t power the reverse light on your cycle carrier or caravan, and it won’t provide any of the battery charging or interior power to a caravan.

The low power consumption of LED signal lighting compared to incandescent units can affect the vehicle indicator functionality. The LED load device ensures that LED signal lighting is compatible with the vehicle that it is installed on. The LED load device replicates the performance characteristics of an incandescent bulb enabling the system to work correctly. A load device is needed when the vehicle indicator flash rate changes when the LED upgrade is fitted, or when LED lamps are fitted to a trailer.

Our range of inspection lamps are designed for hands free usage, providing the ability to position light where it is required without any fuss. They are rechargeable and cordless containing Lithiumion batteries for faster, consistent recharging. They feature a ratchet mechanism, magnet and integral hanging hooks to allow for multi-positioning and directional light for totally hands free working. These are common in consumer electronics. They are one of the most popular types of rechargeable battery for portable electronics of all kinds, with one of the best energy-to-weight ratios, high open circuit voltage, low self-discharge rate, no memory effect and a slow loss of charge when not in use.

Coupled with a magnetic base, some of our light range includes a multi-angle mechanism which allows the user to secure the lamp into place then twist and angle the direction of the light to get the best coverage of the work area.

A Measure of Lumens The lumen can be thought of as a measure of the total amount of visible light in some defined beam or angle, emitted from a source, hitting one square foot of surface, one foot away from the light. The brighter the light, the more lumens it will have. Our range are small, but powerful and therefore the majority have a very high lumen factor.

IP65 Weatherproof

Any product with a weatherproof rating consists of the letters ‘IP’ followed by two digits, the higher the number the better the protection. The first digit indicates the level of protection against the ingress of solid foreign objects such as dust. The second digit defines the protection against various forms of moisture (drips, sprays, submersion etc.). All our lamps that have been tested against this will have an ‘IP’ number assigned to them.

Fast charging is an increasingly popular feature that allows you to power up almost any device in just a fraction of the time it takes to do it the ‘old-fashioned way’. We have designed some of our new inspection lamp range with this technology in mind, so you can spend more time using the product, than charging it.

The majority of our lamp range now feature strong magnets, which are located around the product, usually on the base of the product and/or the rear. These magnets don’t protrude from the ergonomically designed casing and is strong enough to secure it onto any magnetic surface. Coupling this with the multi-angle mechanism, it makes the product far easier to use hands-free and still successfully illuminate the work area.

Any product with an impact rating consists of the letters ‘IK’ followed by two digits, the higher the number the better the protection from being dropped, thrown, run over, etc. The codes range from IK0 to IK10. All our lamps that have been tested against this will have an ‘IK’ number assigned to them.

6000K Colour temp

Measured in degrees Kelvin (K), the light temperature scale is from one thousand up to ten thousand. The cooler the light temperature (colour of the light), the higher the value. The colour of the lamp can have a warm orange glow, right through to a cool, bright blue colour. Candlelight has a colour temperature of around 2000K, natural daylight is around 6500K.
