Mohammad Ashraful Alam completed his Undergraduate degree under a National university and Masters in Business Administration from a reputed private university. He achieved Advance Certificate in Business Administration jointly from IBA, Dhaka University, and AMDISA. Alam obtained special training from various national and international institutions including Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He is a Certified Supply Chain Manager from ISCEA, USA.

Alam’s keen interest in crafts had led him to join BRAC-Aarong in 2012. He contributed significantly on achieving the organisation’s objective of upholding the craft industry of Bangladesh. He has been serving as the Chief Operating Officer of BRAC-Aarong and BRAC Sericulture Enterprise since 2017.
