Yasuda Trading's CB750F

This motorcycle is instantly recognizable as a 1982 CB750FC from its white and red coloring and Boomerang Comstar wheels. The bike was damaged wholely after being neglected for a long time, and it was subject to restoration. Many CB-F riders would like this stock style.

The most important part of riding and continuing to ride this bike from now on is the chassis, such as the brakes and suspension. This is where they have to be clean and functioning well. The anodized surfaces of the stock wheels never allow any ways to clean, exept for gently polishing, when they get dirty. The only thing to do is to take care of it on a regular basis so that it does not deteriorate. For the brakes, there is also the possibility of cleaning or replacing the master cylinder and calipers. The calipers in particular can be overhauled and repainted, as in this bike, or you can choose to have the OEM brake discs made by SUNSTAR. The reason why Yasuda Trading restored this motorcycle is because they wanted to know what kind of deterioration there was and how it could be restored. The brake lines have stainless mesh, and the rear shocks have been replaced with YSS shocks, incorporating a method that has emerged in the 40 years since production to enhance performance while looking like unmodified. The same applies to the tires, which are also used on the current model. It is critical to detect deterioration in areas where it is possible to do so early on and to control the progression of deterioration in areas where it is not possible or difficult to do so. By increasing the number of areas that can be safely serviced in this way, the motorcycle can be kept in good condition for a longer period of time.

Handle

The meter is an OEM part of the Japanese specification CB750F. The top bridge was converted to a handlebar by the "CB-F/R Handlebar Kit 39," jointly produced by TTR Motors, Craft, and Yasuda Shokai, all of whom have extensive knowledge of the CB-F. The handlebar is Road Φ22.2 aluminum (medium) made by ACTIVE, and the left and right switches and front master are restored from CB750F stock. The front forks are set slightly outward.

Bodyworks

The seat will be reupholstered in leather based on the stock, and the internal foam will be changed to comfortable shape. The exterior has also been re-tailored using the stock pattern.

Engine

It had been stored indoors for a long time, in addition to being restored where necessary. The engine remained stock, and its condition is good, so it could be used only to remove exterior rust. The carburetors were cleaned and overhauled, and the frame was rusted off, cleaned, and repainted. The rusted exhaust could have been restored but was replaced with a short steel tube.

Chassis

The Φ39mm CB750FC stock front forks were overhauled internally after removing rust from the inner tube and checking for bends. The stock floating 2-piston front brake calipers were cleaned, and the brake lines were coated with stainless steel mesh and black.

The rear shocks are YSS Z-series, which provide modern performance with looks from the 1980s. The swingarm also uses the repainted stock round pipe. Floating 2-piston caliper and the same Φ272mm (the inner discs have different offsets and shapes) brake discs used on the front are both stock.

The front and rear 2.15-18/3.00-18 size Boomerang Comstar wheels remained FC stock and are lightly polished. The rearsets are also stock and polished like the other parts.
