Johnie was larger than life. His smile lit up the whole room and many found comfort in his presence. The impact Johnie had on people was beyond words. His life scripture was John 3:17… “For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him”. As our family mourns the loss of Johnie, we also find strength in knowing that his life verse is truly what he lived out. He did not condemn… John loved and was loved deeply. He was the oldest of our five kids and nothing short of an amazing brother. His sisters, Dionna, Joclyn, Dominique and Jadyn loved him dearly. John always made sure he stayed bonded to each of them. Even as a young adult, he stayed in very close contact by talking to them and helping them as they made their paths through life. He faithfully called and visited and would even text them after their events. He made sure he knew the intimate details of their lives. He was a blessing in so many ways to so many people but his sisters will forever carry the heart of their brother with them. At age 23, John’s life was forever changed when he became the proud father of Jayde Josephine Kirton. He moved from the Northwest to Arizona and Jayde became the center of John’s world. He loved her with every ounce of his soul. Johnie was an amazing father. He instantly knew how to cherish and love our precious granddaughter. We have always been proud of our son, but words can not describe how much joy it brings to us to see what an awesome father he became.

Johnie will be missed. Everywhere he went he was known, he was loved and he changed lives. Please join us as we celebrate the life of our Son Johnie Kirton. We are still mourning, but we know and stand on our faith that Heaven is rejoicing at the arrival of our son. Our family is standing on Psalms 34:16… The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit
