Phylogenetic relationships of Thaidasys tongiorgii gen. et sp. nov. inferred from Maximum parsimony analysis of 18S rRNA.

The analysis includes 45 Gastrotricha Macrodasyida and the outgroup is represented by Xenotrichula intermedia (Chaetonotida, Xenotrichulidae). The most parsimonious tree with length = 3977 is shown. The consistency index is (0.361930), the retention index is (0.580173), and the composite index is 0.232537 (0.209982) for all sites and parsimony-informative sites (in parentheses). Number at nodes represents bootstrap values (1000 replicates).
