“Zoe and Orly were finally found, the party already ended. It seems that It was pretty boring near the end, leave the place earlier wasn’t a bad idea after all. This night was special for her in a such different way. When Stacy and Greg came, she saw them in a pretty contrasting way compared to hours ago. Orly’s older siblings were always kind to her, but she never felt truly welcomed until now. They were living together in the same place for a while, and when Stacy said the word “home”, her heart suddenly felt warmer. Maybe it was telling her that it was time to move on and start again, Zoe’s story just only began.“

“Orly believed in her, that’s all. The curiosity shining on his eyes were telling this. Zoe was tired and lost, she gave up in trying to convince people about the place she came from. Her hometown doesn’t exists in this world and everyone thinks she’s just an odd countryside girl who lies about her life for whatever reason. But suddenly she was found by someone who is truly interested in what she has to say. She felt she isn’t alone in this weird new world anymore. A little seed of hope started to grow inside her heart.”

“That was the first time she admitted it, Zoe was missing her hometown. But she could never go back to there anymore, since this place supposedly never existed. That was also the first time she cried in front of someone else. She probably felt comfortable to vent in front of Orly. Even without realizing it, maybe he knows what to say in a time like this… Maybe a deep friendship will start to grow.”
(ok, it’s been almost two years since I did something like that, I’m kinda nervous, but also very happy that i was able to draw a comic page again, I plan to continue it in these next days probably, that was a really experimental thing)

OK, I did this one year and half ago. But never posted anywhere… :s
Due to my little Inktober comic project nice reception, I felt more encouraged to post this one! The subject of this comic is quite delicate, that’s why I never submitted before. And Orly’s answer is quite subjective as well (maybe even cliche xD). I hope you guys like it!

“They decided to leave that awful fancy party they were in and Zoe talked about eveything. About the island she lived in, about her family, her old friend, and principally her old dream to depart from that place and explore the world. She finally fulfilled this objective, but ended cutting her connection with her home and couldn’t go back. They ended up losing the track of time while talking about their lives. In the middle of that, she realized how beautiful the stars were, and how the sky was the only thing that remained the same after all these changes. Zoe’s current and past lives were still connected despite everything.”
