Description :

The species features the following characteristics: The pectoral filament is very long and reach the base of 22nd to 30th anal fin soft ray. There is presence of scales on dorsal and anal fins. gill rakers on the lower arch with serrae distinctly grouped. Belly with 32 to 40 keeled scutes starting from isthmus to anal opening. Lower gill rakers with the serrae distinctly clumped.
