Othonna gymnodiscus  An rarely seen geophytic composite/Asteraceae from South Africa.  The plant produces thin stems with blue green leaves and yellow flowers. Under the soil is a thick tuber. Easy to grow. This is a winter grower which is active from late summer/early fall until late spring. It will go completely dormant in the summer and die down to the soil. Keep dry in summer until it starts growing again in the fall. Water regularly during the growing season. Protect from frost.
