As a senior (2022): Earned third consecutive first team All-Patriot League honor… named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week after setting career highs with 14 tackles and three tackles for loss at Georgetown (9/10)… notched second career interception at Princeton (9/24)… had seven tackles, first career sack and a forced fumble at Cornell (10/15)… made 11 tackles at Holy Cross (11/5).
As a junior (2021): Team captain… named first team All-Patriot League for second straight season… started all 11 games at safety… tied for team lead with 69 tackles… added team-best eight pass breakups… registered at least four tackles in all 11 games… tied career high with nine tackles versus Holy Cross (10/30)… added half a sack versus the Crusaders… eight tackle effort at Penn (10/9)… two tackles for loss, two pass breakups and two QB hurries at Bucknell (11/6).
As a sophomore (spring 2021): First team All-Patriot League honoree… started all three games at safety… second on Mountain Hawks with 18 tackles and tied for team lead with three tackles for loss… enjoyed terrific all-around game in opener versus Holy Cross (3/13) with career-high nine tackles, two tackles for loss and first career interception, which set up Lehigh field goal… had five tackles and a forced fumble versus Bucknell (4/3).
As a freshman (2019): Appeared in all 11 games… started final seven games at safety… had at least one tackle in every game… had four tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass breakup at UC Davis… named Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week after blocking a punt versus Merrimack (9/28)… season-high six tackles at Fordham (10/19) and Bucknell (11/9)… had two tackles for loss versus Lafayette (11/23)… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
In high school: Two-time first team All-League defense… two-time first team All-Area… first team All-State defense… first team All-Philadelphia and All-Southeastern PA… also competed in basketball and track and field.
Personal: Son of Aisha and Tye Leach… has five siblings…older siblings Taylor, Aretisha, TJ and Tyrese, younger sibling Ty’Len… brother Tyrese plays football at Alvernia… brother TJ runs track at Garden City Community College.
