2nd STREET: A Luxe NYC Second-Hand Shop With All of Your Designer Needs

If you know me then you know that I do not like to splurge on designer pieces. I am more likely to buy something at a sample sale or majorly discounted. One idea that I have never explored is shopping designer second-hand. Enter 2nd STREET!

2nd STREET is a vintage, second-hand retailer with more than 600 locations in Japan. It currently has New York City locations in Chelsea and NoHo, with a SoHo store opening early this year!

Each store offers an elevated shopping experience for the trendsetter who loves “one of a find” pieces. All of the merchandise is hand-picked by their talented team of international stylists. There are over 10,000 pieces in-store, allowing everyone to express their style with high-quality, unique vintage and second-hand items.

Upon walking into the Chelsea location, the first thing that I noticed was how highly organized and clean it was. At many vintage and second-hand stores, you have to be ready to dig. I was in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes with an adorable Marc Jacobs tweed blazer (for under $60!) plus a vintage silk scarf in hand.

Marc Jacobs was not the only designer spotted, Alice + Olivia, Prada, and Gucci were also present. 2nd STREET offers everything from streetwear to dainty accessories with a price point that can’t be beat. Whether you are an experienced second-hand shopper, someone who usually frequents mainstream retailers, or looking to sell your designer pieces from your closet – you will love it!
