Our stay at Lindisfarne Self Catering was an absolute delight. We got great value for our money with newly renovated facilities and breathtaking views over Stromness and Hoy. The location was perfect, just a short drive or walk away from the town and ferry. The hosts, Kevin and Deborah, were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. It was the perfect getaway for us and our dogs, with a private dog walking path right by the property.

The breakfast offerings could be improved with a bit more variety.

Likes and Best Aspects: The owners of this accommodation were the friendliest hosts ever! They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property itself was modern and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a self-catered stay. The view of the harbor from the lounge was absolutely stunning, and sitting there in the evening was the perfect way to relax. Plus, the location was excellent, just a short drive or walk from the town of Stromness, so we could easily explore the area.

Dislikes and Worst Aspects: Unfortunately, there were a couple of downsides to our stay.

Well-equipped with central heating, an iron and ironing board, and a TV. The room looked like it had just been done up and felt fresh. 😊

My recent stay at Lindisfarne in Stromness was absolutely amazing. The location was breathtaking, offering stunning views of the village and close proximity to attractions. The self-catering flat was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were lovely and even provided fresh flowers, tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. We enjoyed watching movies from their DVD collection and appreciated the plentiful heaters. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the island.

We had an amazing stay at this self-catering accommodation with stunning views overlooking the harbor and village. The newly renovated kitchen and bathroom were fantastic, and the cozy sofa made us feel right at home. We even got to spot wildlife from our window, like hares and curlews. The hosts were extremely helpful and gave us great tips for exploring the area. The location was perfect, just a short drive or walk into town.
