Abstract
The Hulun Buir steppe, one of the most diverse areas of temperate steppes in the world, is located in the high plain area at the western foot of the Greater Khingan Mountains. 1113 species (including infraspecific taxa), belonging to 413 genera of 86 families of vascular plants were recorded in existing literature statistics in the Hulun Buir steppe. In this atlas, we have selected 486 species of the most common and important vascular plants in the Hulun Buir steppe, and listed the Latin scientific name, Chinese name, distribution area, habitat, etc. of each species in detail, compared with the common plant map, the atlas describes especially the floristic composition and use value of each species.
The photograph below shows Lilium pumilum, a representative species of Hulun Buir steppe.
