Abstract
In 23 patients with acute myeloid leucemia maintained chemotherapy or discontinued chemotherapy were compared in a parallel group study. Maintenance was an insignificant predictor of survival with a p-value of 0,078. With the Accelerated failure time model with a Weibull distribution the p-value fell to 0,015.
