Abstract
The following five new foliicolous lichen species are described and illustrated:Bacidina simplex sp. n. (Lecideaceae s. ampl.),Byssoloma absconditum sp.n. andB. confusum sp. n. (Pilocarpaceae), andMacentina pocsii sp. n. (Verrucariaceae s. ampl.), all from Tanzania, andGyalectidium palmicola sp. n. (Gomphillaceae) from Cuba.
