Species Information
General:
Perennial herb from a simple stem-base; stems simple, one to several, 10-30 cm tall, with long, simple or 2-branched hairs at the bases, becoming glabrous above.
Leaves:
Basal leaves numerous in a rosette, egg-shaped, 1-3 cm long, 3-5 mm wide, drying and remaining prominent, stalks and blades with many long, simple or 2-branched hairs; stem leaves unstalked to short-stalked, not clasping stem, lanceolate to oblanceolate, 8-12 mm long, 2-5 mm wide, long hairs on margins and undersurface.
Flowers:
Racemes few-flowered (5-25); petals 5-6 mm long, white to pale lavender; outer two sepals not bulging on one side at the base.
Fruits:
Siliques, angled upward, straight to slightly curved, 1-2 cm long, 1-1.5 mm wide; seeds in 1 row, 0.75-1.0 mm long, wingless.
