John Wright

Director

John Wright is a Metallurgical Engineer and Honours graduate of Queen’s University in Ontario, with over 37 years’ experience in many facets of the exploration and mining industry. John Wright was a co-founder, and former director, president and chief operating officer of Pan American Silver Corp. He was also the co-founder of Equinox Resources. Previously, John spent 10 years with Teck Cominco where he worked at the Trail Smelter operations and later participated in the management of the feasibility studies, marketing and mine construction at the Afton, Highmont, Bull Moose and David Bell Mines. John Wright is currently a director of Ero Copper Corp and SilverCrest Metals and a former director of Lumina Copper, Northern Peru Copper, Global Copper and Bitterroot Resources. He is a Member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and has a P.Eng. (retired) designation from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.
