My boyfriend took his military uniform to get its patches sewed on here. They put them on according to regulations. The staff were nice and friendly. However, he never received a phone call when the uniform was ready to be picked up and the hours on the door and website were different. Additionally, they were open when both the sign on the door and website said they would be closed. Very confusing.
Military uniforms will be completed in regulations for a fair and affordable price. Make sure you follow up a couple days later if you haven't gotten a call.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Grace L.Anchorage, AK78627Nov 7, 2018

We had a positive experience. My wife and I had three coats altered (two athletic coats and a pea coat) which were ready in a few days as promised. Alterations were excellent the first time. Our interactions were also very pleasant. We recommend this locally owned business.

Very nice lady, she gave me a great price on some dresses I had the sleeves shortened on, and also on one I had turned into a sundress with pockets. I will definitely be using this place again. She was very kind, measured me for fit, and her sewing work was flawless! This place rocks!

My first experience was good but this time I was furious. First of all, she charged me $80 JUST to hem my dress. No other alterations, literally just taking up the length. Her reasoning was because it was a heavy material. It was chiffon with another layer under. Since I was in a hurry and had no time to take it elsewhere I just decided to do it. Big mistake. When I went to pick it up, it was SO uneven. I noticed before I even tried it on. She said she'd fix it but its chiffon material so of course you can't "fix" it, she just made it all shorter. So now I have a bridesmaids dress that is supposed to be long, come up to where you can see my feet. I asked if she was still charging me the $80 since it wasn't what I wanted and she tried saying it was fixed (it wasn't!!!) and charged $75 instead. Thanks for the WHOLE $5 off...Not coming back.

she is AMAZING!!! I have used her to take in my husband jeans...$3! Alter my daughters bridesmaid dress...$20! And alter my daughters wedding dress w/bustle...$50! David's bridal was going to charge me over $200 just for the bustle!

The lady is really nice, and the price is reasonable. Get a pant altered for $8, I was expecting for something much higher for alteration in Anchorage. Anyway, this is gonna be my go-to spot for any future alterations.
