Axis Dance and Acro

I've had my fair share of shuffling my kiddos to different studios, from dance to gymnastics, and every other extra curricular activity that has me driving all over the county! I'm familiar with parking lots that make the mixing bowl traffic driving seem like a breeze and overcrowded waiting rooms that way too close for comfort.

With that being said, I'll go ahead and start from the beginning. Who needs the extra stress of navigating through a hot mess of a parking lot just to drop off your kid to class? Not here. So, it was so refreshing to find parking without nearly getting in an accident or waiting in line to park a mile away from the studio.

Then I walk into the studio and there's not a waiting area, there's a waiting LOUNGE! Yes, parents, we adults don't have to cram into a room, hallway, or wait in our cars (because God forbid we lose our precious parking spot we worked hard to get!) just to wait for our kids to finish class. And it gets better...there's free wifi (you know that's important to you just as it's important to your kiddos), coffee, and WAIT for it...a MASSAGE chair (the real deal here).

As a new studio, it is remarkably inviting, fun, and clean. The Axis center a great range of classes, from dance and tumbling to aerial arts, teaching levels from beginners to high-level competitive dancers. Class rates at the Axis center are reasonably priced, especially given the quality of the teachers. When you have teachers with CVs displaying So You Think You Can Dance and Cirque du Soleil, quality instruction is delivered.

Unlike many studios, with burned out teachers and students being treated like a part in a dull routine, the Axis Center has teachers who teach with passion. Teachers are engaging and enthusiastic as they teach. Besides being talented and friendly, the Axis Center staff really create an environment where you want to call home.

You and your kids deserve a place like this and finally it's here!

My daughter (currently 15, dancing since she was 3) had previously trained at two other studios. Axis is far and away our favorite. Her previous studio was defined by managers and some teachers that saw the parents and students as a means to make money rather than customers. Nothing could be farther from the truth here at Axis. The teachers are wonderful and caring as well as just plain good at what they do. Their choreography is fantastic, the Acro and Ariel Arts program is the best around. Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical are all excellent as well.
The studio manager, Noel, has gone out of is way to promote an atmosphere of learning and growing so that each child wants to do the best they can without any of the harsh, competitive environment you sometimes get and see (like in Dance Moms :) )
(and yes, the lobby really does have a massage chair for adults and dog treats for the pooches!)
