Has anyone tried the Sunday brunch? Was it worth the price?

      A:

The brunch has a prime rib carving station, oysters, crab legs, potatoes, and biscuits and gravy. For no additional charge you can order eggs benedicts, waffles, and omelets made to order. They also have a wonderful variety of desserts.

Came here for dinner on New Year's Eve-- excited cause we've been wanting to try this place for a while. I called a few days in advance and they were able to get us in which was nice as making last minute reservations for dinner New Year's Eve isn't ideal.
We arrive a little early and they were able to seat us right away-- glad cause we were hungry. They weren't too busy and the server came over almost immediately to take our drink order. The menus isn't too extensive and we're able to make some quick decisions-- we started with the mussels (good flavor but, many of the mussels weren't open/ unbeatable). For our main courses, we got the Chicken Parmesan (tangy sauce with heavy basil flavors) and the mushrooms pizza (evening favorite). Dessert was offered and when we decided that we were going to pass, the server grabbed the dessert menu and walk away quickly-- a little off putting.
The restaurant itself it's a beautiful/great space... Food and service both meh.

The best Caesar salad around! Excellent spaghetti and meat balls! It's fabulous!

We love it. Atmosphere is lovely too!

My sister wanted to come here for her birthday dinner and it was so nice. They were very busy but got us in. Our server was so full of sunshine and smiles and good service. I had low expectations when my mom ordered the cheese pizza. And it is truly out of this world. I would 10/10 get that when I go back again. It was amazing. My salad was good. Very fresh, and a good portion size. The tables and booths are very close together but I can see why this place is constantly busy. It's also right next to peculiar ales which is also wonderful!

This is the second time we have been in this year. The food is excellent. Highly recommend the lasagna. 3 of 4 had the lasagna and it is great. The other person had ricotta cavatelli and loved it. The ambience is really nice with a fun vibe. Sound levels are very moderate.

The service has been fabulous. Both times Cianna was our server. She is very fun and provides fantastic service.

We were sad when cacciatore closed in Fort Collins but the Windsor location is making up for it.

Dinner with our local fam. Mill Tavern closed for a private party so ran upstairs to Cacciatore. We were seated immediately and Rhea was immediately available to serve. What a jewel she is! She knew every menu well. Drinks came quickly while we perused the menu. Several standards were listed with some interesting house specialty dishes. I opted for mussels and a bowl of their tomato bisque soup! Both really good although for my taste the mussel broth could have used more garlic! After all it is Italian. Wife and daughter-in-law had salads which were declared 'great'! Son and grandson opted for the Cacciatore Steak Burger which was a real steak in a brioche bun. Absolutely no complaints ... none! Well maybe one ... they didn't offer sweet potato fries. Certainly no show stopper. At some point, perhaps when prices fall and stabilize we'll come back for what appears to be a quality Italian menu. We spent nearly $200 for 5 people (w/o tip) which felt pretty pricey
relative to our meal choices (2 salads, 2 'burgers', soup and an appetizer). But Cacciatore appears to be quite a popular place! And a nice choice for a nice dinner in lil ol' Windsor.

This romantic eatery delivers on all levels. Our service was great, and the food delicious! We were seated on the dining room past the bar. It was a little loud out there for our date, but we enjoyed ourselves.

We are so glad we chose to have dinner here!

Our favorite Italian restaurant Canino's closed recently so we hunted around and transferred our affections to Cacciatore at Heller's Kitchen in Windsor, CO.

The service is refreshingly professional, including some very welcome faces, and the owner is totally hands on and friendly. We value these things very highly but the added benefits of a can't-miss menu and the best wine list around makes this our new Italian-Cuisine home.

An added bonus is their daily half-dozen oyster special for just $6. They were tasty and super fresh, which is hard to find in landlocked Colorado.

We strongly recommend you give Cacciatore a try. You will be back.

Went a week ago and the food was bland and overall just gross. Went a few times before and the food seemed fine but has really gone downhill since. Just saw they were forced closed by the health department for health violations so that will be the last time I visit this place. Shame on them for not taking customer health and safety seriously.
