These small town bars are what make Nebraska! This gem is in the small town of Hildreth Nebraska. From the moment that you walk in you are treated like family. They go out of their way to find something that will work for you to drink and they're always there before your glass goes empty. If you're going in thinking that the decor is fancy, then this isn't the place for you. If you're coming for great food and friendly people than you arrived at your destination. My wife ordered the ribeye which was cooked to absolute perfection and the other three of us ordered the prime rib. What made their prime rib so much different is that it wasn't over seasoned and subpar quality. They let the meat speak for itself and it was tender and unforgettable. Hildreth is a little bit out of the way, but it's definitely worth stopping in.

ALERT!! Clint has the place back and it's much improved. We've been going to Clint's since Clint has taken over (just a few short months) and have never been disappointed. They have a special every evening. We have been their for Burger Night on Friday and had great burgers. All their meat is local USDA Choice. Last Saturday got there for the prime rib and rib eye steak special. Had them both and they were done perfectly and the beef was tender. The "cheesy potatoes" were homemade and excellent. Service is good and the owner and staff are friendly. Bring Cash....no credit cards here. They do have an ATM in case you forget.
The place isn't fancy....just an old time country bar with an assortment of different tables. The kitchen area appears clean. It would be nice if they could put in some new modern restrooms.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - D F.Aurora, CO0973Dec 20, 2009First to Review
The place has recently changed hands, it's now known as Double D's Pub and Grill. The menu is similar as the old Clints with some great additions. The smoked prime rib on Wednesday nights is incredible. They still feature the mexican food on Thursday nights which is still excellent. I've had lunch there a few times and each time there was a different home made special.
I was really suprised to see all the new improvements the new owners have made. The place is super clean, remodeled, and there are many LCD tv's which accomidate all the sporting events. There are many beers to choose from, I think I counted 30 different kinds of beers with local brewed beers on tap which was nice to see. I also noticed they offered free Wifi for the patrons which is really nice. Compared to the other bars to choose from in the area, this one is at the top.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Neal S.Hildreth, NE291Nov 6, 2014
