Crispy Cones

Crispy Cones is a sweet treat! BYU Idaho students are lucky to have this gem in their backyard! Shark Tank's Barbara Corcoran knew what a great dessert this was when she invested in 2023!

I went into the Rexburg location with a friend on a weeknight for a couple cones of ice cream. We settled on the monthly special, mint, plus a traditional chocolate. With chocolate, we got a traditional cone with Nutella filling and strawberries to top it off. With mint, we opted for a traditional cone without filling, and definitely splurged on Oreos topping.

No doubt, this is a great spot for a casual date night or a catch up with a bestie. The atmosphere is super chill, and the staff is super friendly. Although you order from a kiosk, the staff will check in with you to make sure you understand everything. In my experience, our orders came out within five minutes and they were made to perfection. I don't like a ton of ice cream, so the staff even entertained my extra request to make a smaller cone. Perfect!

This month's special cone was Nutter butter, which should pair amazingly with the chocolate or vanilla ice cream!

Now, to plan my return...

A tablet takes your order, so why would I add a tip? Aside from calling the name I enter into the tablet, there isn't any communication from the employees. The idea is good, but the ambiance is as cold as the ice cream.

It's a cute place, kinda slow tbh. Service was awesome. I do appreciate the flavor of the churro base, nice and soft and mixed so well with the cookie butter. My first time visiting after I was given great reviews from peers.

This was soooo good they even filled the cone with your fav flavor and icecream all the way to the bottom! and everyone was so nice

Super yummy, unique ice cream concept! The only thing that threw me off was that the cones were soft, not crispy. Which I wouldn't have thought that I would like, BUT they were amazing! Some of the best homemade pastry that I have had. They were a little skimpy with their sauces (see photo) but when we asked them for a little more they were happy to oblige. Great atmosphere and customer service!!

I will never be able to have a regular soft serve cone again. You choose your filling, topping and drizzle of sauce. Great in-store experience, great service and yummy cone!

First time here. We loved the options. The seasonal flavor was lemonade.
You pick your ice cream flavor, cone and toppings.
They will put ice cream inside and stuff the middle with the toppings. Then they sprinkle the toppings on top and drizzle the syrup of your choice on top.
We all loved our options and ate it all.
We definitely will come back.

My Rexburg friends brought me here, and they love it. I about passed out to see the only option for ice cream was an 8. cone. I think I may have been forced to leave a tip on the self checkout which is strange since I had no contact with my employee other than handing me my food. The "cone" is sort of a cinnamon roll. Just not my thing. The soft serve was decent, but honestly, not as good as McDonalds.
On the plus side; they keep a clean restaurant, with a college town ambiance.

Oh, my! It was amazing. I mean, yes, the light crisp of the cone was wonderful, but the whole package was to die for. Putting a cookie butter spread inside the cone, then high quality ice cream, and a few toppings - just amazing. Why don't I have one of these places? If you are visiting Rexburg, you have to try this! Loved it. My combo was a gingerbread cone (special at this time of year), cookie butter spread, vanilla and peppermint swirl, with biscoff cookie crumbles on top. Yum!
