Highly recommended!
One of the best urgent care that I ever been at.
Started with the first phone call at the morning to check if they accept my insurance to the super professional doctor , Chanel Bral.
The clinic is very clean and their workers are really nice and helpful.
Thank you so much.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hooman M.Glendale, CA651731Dec 7, 2023
It is so crazy! I brought my elderly father here Sunday night around 6pm and even though there was only 1 patient it took forever to be seen but I was really happy with the staff and the service they provided. Today is now Thursday only 5 days later and this time I come with my mother and daughter and immediately upon stepping foot in the door the vibes were awful. I walk in and let them know that I need both my mother and daughter to be seen. I hand over my daughter's insurance card and she takes one look and slaps it down on the counter saying we don't take this. Surprised I say oh ok I thought urgent care similar to ER took all insurance! No worries I ask how much do you charge for a simple Covid test? $150 she replies. I say wow ok no problem then let's just checking my mom and put her card on the counter along with ID. She types for a few minutes as I wait. I ask her are you done with her insurance card. She replies yes, so I take it and give it back to her. As she is typing she proceeds to tell me about different Covid tests. So I say what's the difference. She tells me and then says wow do you want to go ahead?! Go ahead with what I say? With the test she says. I said no I'm going to get an over the counter test, your tests is way too expensive. She slobbishly replies they are not my tests and not my prices. It's corporates prices. Surprisingly I reply, as long as you are behind the counter of this company and wearing their outfit you are a representative of the so called corporate. Of course these are not your prices. I don't even know you, your name so when I say you I am referring to your company and not you personally!!!!! Instead of that being the end of it she proceeds to argue and be snide towards me to a point that my 13 year old came up to me in tears and asked if we could leave.
There is a lot more but to suffice it to say avoid this place especially if you are not feeling well. You will come out feeling worse with the attitude they give you. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. STAY AWAY. THERE ARE PLENTY OF URGENT CARES CLOSE BY.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Checking registration process is arduous at best, you really need a computer kiosk instead of forcing sick people to tap on tiny phones through the myriad screens

I went to Exer urgent care, tarzana California..I was having sever breathing issues, no appetite etc... they were very quick,, did chest x ray, Covid swab, flu test.. came back with results...COVID, pneumonia, flu told me I need to go directly to Tarzana hospital emergency. After nine hours in the emergency I was also taken in for a chest CAT scan. All tests including two Covid swab two chest x-rays etc. I had nothing. Diagnosed with severe, asthma attack. who is the radiologist that read my x-rays at Exer and determined I had pneumonia. This doctor radiologist was so wrong. I will never go back to that facility.

If you don't have autoimmune issues that could complicate run-of-the-mill issues, Tarzana Exer is great. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and it's simple to get to. But, since it's not a doctor that you'll be seeing, that's why I say to use caution...I take my kids here (teens) but not for myself. There's a different urgent care across the street that can better address health needs with other complications.

Exer Urgent Care makes your life EASIER, and convenient, especially with unexpected illness when you're so busy, but also feel terrible and don't have the luxury of waiting to see your doctor.
I actually didn't know they existed and I live literally on the same street as them down the block. (I think it has to do with them being on the 2nd floor) and I never look up and I don't think they are within view from Ventura Blvd... could be wrong. Maybe this speaks to how they could maybe make a sign on the ground level for more visibility.
I initially went to my primary care MD as a walk in and they told me to go to urgent care. I went to an urgent care that I usually found pretty reliable down the street on Ventura Blvd, coz it was always relatively quick in the past and not busy. Only problem --they weren't open yet!! They open at 10am!
-Being that it's urgent care--I assumed they would be open way earlier than that. When I did a quick google for urgent care in the area, I was pleasantly surprised that EXER was not only open, but literally down the street from my house.
The facilities are very clean, modern, and seem to have a good system going. You can sense they are adamant about cleanliness because there are 2 cup holders for pens. One marked "Clean pens" and "dirty pens." I like that sort of thing and it makes me feel like they care about infection control---as it should be in a medical setting.
Staff were very professional and courteous and I was able to get the help that I needed and feel better knowing that I'm in good hands as the provider prescribed me what I needed to get me feeling like myself again.
Highly recommend this place and would definitely come back for another visit when needed from now on.
When places like this exist, I almost feel bad for primary doctors, because now when something arises, you no longer have to wait for an opening to see your doctor. You can get help TODAY, and within the hour.
Thank you Exer and staff!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anna L.Encino, CA1193Jan 10, 2024
I made the terrible mistake of going to this urgent care because they opened an hour earlier than others on a Saturday. I was inexcusably misdiagnosed. Was given fungal infection mouthwash as opposed to antibiotics which is what I needed for a bacterial infection. My primary physician was shocked when I told her when I was forced to go see her a few days later due to worsening symptoms. The best part is that I called and complained 12 hours after my urgent care visit and again 24 hours after that I was not getting better but the geniuses told me to give it more time for the yeast infection medicine to kick in. They shouldn't be allowed to practice on animals let alone people. Would rather ChatGPT diagnose me than them.

Was seen at this urgent care for menstrual cramps and was told I was pregnant, a $10,000 visit to the emergency room later, I was told my previous tests were wrong. Nurse practitioner who saw me did not even talk to me about what I came in for. Ignored the fact that I did not have symptoms or that I had birth control. Just walked in with results. Did not offer an option to skip the ER trip or offer a solution for my actual health concern.

Reading that they take new patients until 8:30 p.m. and that there was no one in line, I arrived at 8:20 p.m. When I walked in, the receptionist/medical assistant said they were no longer taking patients. When I pointed out it was 8:20, she asked what the issue was. I told her I was worried I had Covid and because of my age and asthma, if I had Covid, I wanted to get medication. She asked my symptoms and when I said I had a headache and had been nauseous but that I could not tell from the home test I took whether it was positive, she consulted someone (I presume the doctor but don't know because he/she didn't come out). I was then told they could not see me because it might be something more significant and that I should go to the ER. WTF!
It was clear to me that they didn't give a damn about me but only wanted to close early. If you are actually sick, don't bother with this Exer location!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
