Fancy Food Russian Market

There are a few Russian Stores in Valley and Fancy Food might be the smallest, but if you want great service and not a huge line when you need a few items, this is the place.
Being across from Bazar, the place I despise, not easy to stay in business, but they are and I am so happy!
The selection of fruits and veggies might not be the same, but at least nothing is rotten and even if something is and you bring it to attention of the worker or the owner, they Thank You for that.
They have very nice deli and desert selection.
However, service it the most important part and that what separates Fancy Food from Bazar

I recently purchased groceries from your store, and unfortunately, I found that many of the items were stale and past their expiration dates. As a loyal customer, I value the quality of the products I purchase, and this experience was disappointing. I have been going to this store for years! I go buy Latvian bread saldusskaub maize! The owner keeps telling me next week next week! The service is very bad, now that the owner left!

Love this place! Great quality food and nice prices not affected by inflation good meat fruits and vegetables! Big selection of cultural goods as well as normal everyday brands and needs I always tell people to come here for their needs instead of bigger places because it supports a local business and is a great place.

We've Purchased Salads and a cake for Thanksgiving Day.
Open a cake and it was to old and salads was not fresh as well.
Poisoned with all my family, second day sick.
Visited hospital, doctor's report says :Food Poisoning

I've been coming here for a while, I'm a loyal russian customer. However, today I came, parked and realized my mom, who works across the street from the store, had my credit card so I was about to leave my car for literally 30 seconds to grab my credit card and run back to the store but as soon as I tried to walk away from my car, the guy who works at the store came out and started yelling at me and flipping out saying I need to move my car. I started speaking russian to him and explained that I wasnt parking my car here to go shop elsewhere, I explained to him that I come here all the time and I always shop here at this store I just realized my card was at my moms work across the street legit just had to cross the street she was waiting for me outside to give me the credit card. He yelled at me some more in russian saying he doesn't care to hear any of my excuses and he doesn't care that I'm coming to his store and that I need to take my car and leave. Well, safe to say, worst customer service ever. The most rude experience I have ever had and I'm RUSSIAN !!!! Never ever went through this at any other russian store except for this one. Horrible I wish I could leave zero stars. If you want to get treated like shit, then this is the place. You "business owners" or employees, should be all ashamed of yourself. I will never return here and I will make sure to tell my entire family and russian community in LA about this awful experience.

What a GEM in the rough. this place has been here for over 15 years. They have lots of European Deli meats. Fresh baked Russian cakes. They also have a deli area with various salads. The beet salad and the potato salad are amazing. i also got the Blood Sausage. The deli meats are priced fair and wrapped with extra care.

I feel so sorry for the quality that have changed in this store . Don't ever buy cooked food from this store . I've bought it once and got posing , bought second time and got posing and yesterday my cousin told me let's go to that store and I'll ask them to give us something fresh . Now all his family is in the hospital . Tried to explain to the owners but their rude attitude finished conversation in a minute. Will never buy anything else from that store. I hope government will react on our complains . Wanted to do injury case but will not only because we have common friends with the owners. May be I'm wrong with that... will see

Nice little mom and pop style shop.

They always have fresh cooked Russian goodies as well as an impressive selection of imported frozen foods as well as fresh produce.

Prices are very fair and the store is very clean and organized.

I'm from Eastern Europe so it's nice to have access to foods I love so close to me.

My favorite items there are the sweets, Russian potato salad, fish (smoked and canned), ikura (salmon eggs), imported German breads, and cooked dishes.
