Are there new hours during this virus pandemic?
A:
For now, the hours seem to have not changed, 6AM to 12AM everyday, but they are enforcing social distancing and masks.

Michael M is the most refreshing checker he really brightened my day with his kindness...it shows in the way he treats customers how much he loves his job ... thank you Michael I will definitely see you again thank you food 4 less and when I was shopping I had too much in my hands another worker helped me to the register

Stopped by Food 4 Less for the first time ever, as it was near my parents-in-law's house. First thing I notice is that their bright colored shopping carts are littered all over the parking lot. According to the in-laws, this is a common sight here, as the store rarely sends associates out on cart runs.
The store itself is really clean, brightly lit, well stocked, and prices are all clearly labeled. Overall, the regular prices here are pretty good compared with other grocery stores, especially given the current inflation and supply shortages. Honeycrisp apples were $0.99/lb, pineapples were $1.99 ea, and avocados were $0.79/ea, to give a few examples.
The line to ring out was a disaster though. At 8pm on a weekend, there was 4 cashier lines open, and all of them were barely moving. Everyone was shuffling between different lines to try to find one that moved, but either the system was slow, the customers paying up front for all the lines were taking awhile, or the cashiers were moving slow as molasses, I couldn't pinpoint the cause. The cashier was pretty impersonal, as no greeting was provided, nor eye contact made. i try and go to Rachel because shes quick and
very friendly she greets all of the customers with a Hello how are you.. she's great at

Had an encounter with Craig the manager. Went to this store to buy last minute things for my wedding dinner and for dinner that night. I paid for my 1st transaction and then for my 2nd transaction I used my WIC card and told him I wanted 5 bags. He looked at wat I had on the belt to be ringed up and said "5 bags?" I confirmed and told him I was going to throw my cans of Tomatoe sauce from the previous transaction in the bags too and he tells me "Well u know that's illegal right?!" I was dumb founded. I've never had to argue about bags with anyone. He claimed he could only give me enough bags for my WIC transaction not for my non WIC transaction. I asked if I could speak to the manager and he claimed to be the manager. I felt this was ridiculous to argue about so I told him how many will he allow me to have? He told me he wouldn't know until I filled the bags up. We went back in forth for a little bit then finally he said he would give me 3 bags for my WIC stuff.i said ok that's all I need but he can't tell me what I can and can't put in my bags. I was so pissed.
Hopefully a business manager contacts me because that is just petty and ridiculous. I hope Craig gets a good talking to if not disciplinary action against him. What is he part of the bag police?!
I will not spend another dime at this store because of his actions. I'll go to foodco instead where I never get treated like this.

I started going here a little bit lately because they are now employee owned and I support that model of business. However, they seriously need to expand their selection of items. They have two items for every 20 they could have on the shelf.

I stopped by during the Grand Opening of Food 4 Less. Located at the corner of Mack Rd & Franklin Blvd. It's well organized and some decent grand opening specials of course! Who doesn't want deals like avocado 3 for a $1, cucumbers 4 for $1 or even Foster Farms whole chicken for $.58 Lb?? To list a few specials.
The lines are crazy long, but goes down pretty fast. The employees aren't very friendly or helpful either. Many of the prices rang up wrong luckily, I had the ad with me otherwise, I would have had to wait for a manager to verify prices.
I know it's probably overwhelming being it's the first day the store opened. I'll give it a couple months for the employees to get it together before I return. It is nice to know there's a Food 4 Less in Sacramento.Helpful 27Thanks 1Love this 24Oh no 0 - Joseph B.CA, CA01Sep 10, 2023
i walked in the store with a opened bag of skittles and i was walking around going to buy a snack and some supposedly "security guy" thought the skittles was from food4less even though i bought it from ARCO the security is assuming shit
