Kosta's Greek Eatery

We met friends who are regulars at Kosta and I will say it's the best authentic Greek food we have had in Florida!
The Greek salad and calamari were great starters. We also had a slice of cheese pizza and a slice of Margarita pizza both sliced in half , just to try.
The best pizza we have had in Florida.
We ordered for dinner, 3 pork 3 chicken skewers with the most amazing pita and tzatziki!
Then onto dessert, the baklava was the best, we also had a Greek cake which I can't remember the name, but the selection is amazing!
You will love, love this restaurant!
I would suggest making a reservation on weekends.

I used to eat at Kosta's a long time ago back in their old location. When they moved, probably a decade now, I had some experiences with it taking a very long time to get our order. It was enough to turn me off from this place. HOWEVER...I decided to check out the reviews on Yelp to read peoples' recent experiences here. All the good reviews made me cast aside my doubts and come back.

And boy am I glad I did! I had really missed their food, and it was just as delicious as ever. The restaurant is very comfortable with several tables and a large bar area that you can sit and dine at as well. There is some unique art hanging from the ceiling and photos of Greece and I believe the owners' families. At least when seated at the bar, it appears that you do not have one sole server, as many of the servers helped us with taking our orders and refilling drinks, etc. The service was very friendly and attentive.

We decided on the spanakopita platter for me with Greek salad. My husband got the Gyro platter. There was no way I was going to go back to Kosta's and not have their lemon potatoes, which are a must have. We placed the order and I nervously eyed my watch. Rest assured, our order came out in normal time, and as I took my first forkful, I knew they had completely won me back.

The salad ingredients were very fresh and crisp, and as you can imagine, they use delicious feta and olives. The lemon potatoes were just as I'd remembered, with the perfect balance of citrus. The spanakopita was generously filled with spinach and feta cheese. My husband loved his Gyro platter. prior to being served our main courses, they provided us with warm pita topped with delicious Greek. The portion sizes are generous., especially for the price, and we were able to enjoy our leftovers for lunch the next day.

I'm already ready to go back again, and it's only been a couple days. I feel bad that I missed out on many years of enjoying their food, but glad to see my old concerns are just that. OLD.

If I can make one request to the owners: PLEASE bring back the grilled calamari dish that you had at your old location. That was some of the best calamari I ever had, and sometimes it is hard to find it served grilled and not fried.

We were looking to try out an authentic restaurant where we never been before and Kosta'S Greek Eatery came up on Yelp with really good reviews. We decided to try it. And we're not disappointed.
First of all, all employees were really nice and we even met the owner Kosta who was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us to try their delicious pizza that was really good with extra crisp bottom and sides. Not the soggy pizza other restaurants may offer.
All the food was very flavourful and delicious. I loved the fact they add lots of spices that gives sooo much flavour to each dish, sauce, potatoes.
We would definitely come back again.

My wife is a big fan of octopus, and greek restaurants are very good at it. We visited Kosta's for the octopus but will come back for the friendly and attentive service. The venue is a stand alone building. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere. The waitress was very attentive. The octopus was excellent, and so was the pizza my wife and I shared.

Local Greek restaurant makes the best New York style pizza down here. The owner is funny kind of grumpy but funny his wife is lovely and she makes the best almond cookies. They recently got married which is so sweet and took on a partner in the restaurant I hope the partners are okay.

We absolutely love Kosta's! If you're looking for some authentic Greek cuisine, or even a great slice of pizza for a great deal, look no further. Since living in Deerfield, my wife and I have been here countless times and will always recommend to friends and family. Literally everything is great. Sometimes service is a little slow but always super friendly. When we're hungry, we make sure to call ahead for takeaway, which my wife doesn't normally like to do but makes an exception here since the food is so good. The ambiance here is typical of a Greek eatery and could use some updating but who cares when the food is this good?!

This place is SOOOO good!! This restaurant is a little hidden gem. We were staying in the Deerfield area and I was craving Greek food, so we decided to give this place a try. Their menu is super cool, it's Greek and Italian. So you get the best of both worlds. It also works out perfectly for my children who don't eat Greek food. Our first time coming here, we got the chicken platter for four, pizza, a burger and fries, a Greek salad, hummus and pita. We were hungry lol. I was surprised on how amazing everything tasted! I'm obsessed with their garlic pita and hummus! And the chicken souvlaki is AMAZING too! I definitely recommend stopping by! The staff is super nice as well! I just wish they had one closer to our house!

First time we came here the owner was the sweetest. He loved our daughter and brought us free slices of pizza. Before he left for the day he smashed a plate for her and yelled OPPPPAAAA for good luck. The food was delicious! We had the dips, the pizza, and falafel appetizer and everything was devine! Then we came back again for dinner but we brought our entire family! The service was slow because they are busy busy busy on the weekends, so prepare for a wait and don't a prick because it takes too long. The owner smashed two more plates this time around for the baby lol. My family loved the scenery, decor, and the feeling of being in your Greek uncles house for dinner. We'll be back soon!
