Went for my bday. It was a beautiful atmosphere, we reserved a big outdoor booth and everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. Everything came out quickly and the server was nice.

      This place is so good.

Margherita pizza is one of the first things I order at an Italian restaurant, and the pizza here is exceptional! It's a pretty big size too so you might want to share if you get one. The pastas are also so delicious. To be honest, I don't think they have a bad item on the menu.

Service was quick and the server we had was very nice and friendly. The vibe is very " cool LA" and you can either visit with jeans and a t shirt or suit and tie. The layout of the restaurant flows so nice and the different sections make it seem bigger than it is, in not saying it as a bad thing, it was just decorated very well.

Only thing is it can be kind of confusing to find the front door because it's gated and the building next to it is a parking lot.

was craving some bread pudding so headed to this place. place is in some complex thats hidden behind sone bushes. i guess their trying to do some kind of design aesthitic. outside and inside looks like typical yuppie place. full bar and dark lighting and full of 25 yr old and up club monaco type fashion wearing yuppies. place has plenty of table of seating. menu is typical italian... pastas pizzas etc. ordered what i came for their bread pudfing, soakef some orangy flavor syrup, berries, topped with vanilla creme anglais, and powder sugar, its precooked so waited 5 mins and got the food. total damage $17.

and the verdict. its ok to good. warm and good fllavor. taste fine. nothing special. but i need to point something out, im dropping a star for how they boxed my food. they put a plastic container of cold creme an anglis on top of my warm pudding. one its unsanitary as the plastic has no doubt been in contact with fingers or possible dirty counter tops since from a kitchen and two why would you put cold container on top of a warm item? just put the container separately outside the box containimg the pudding instead of inside the box with the pudding when you put them in the togo bag. is that too hard?

anyway, tried once and enough for me. off to the nextt bread pudfing, will be trying out 3 other places so cant wait.

bread pudding with orange syrup, side of vanilla cream anglise, fresh berries, topped with powder sugar. served warm.

Beautiful restaurant tucked away on a side street between Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset. It is street parking only or valet, but my BF and I walked. The restaurant has an indoor area near the huge bar as well as an expansive courtyard outdoor area. We chose the outdoor seating and were glad we did since it was a little quieter than indoors, and you can see the pizza kitchen with the pizza oven. Courtyard was lovely with trees and the walls were covered with foliage.

Our table, while small, had a mini accompanying table to hold our pizza. I'm glad they had that because we had no idea the pizzas were going to be massive, and I really mean, massive. They were almost the size of a Costco pizza. The crust was extremely thin and delicious, but it could have benefited from a little more thickness just to stay together better, but this just means the pizza was best eaten with a fork and knife.

Service was good; I can't remember anything standing out unfortunately since we went a while ago. But the restaurant vibe was wonderful.

Apparently the author of "Eat, Pray, Love" had a relationship with their pizza. I get it. The margherita is fabulous and definitely worth the price of admission. Why? The sauce has a lovely bit of sweetness offset by the perfectly baked thin crust. But I was curious and also ordered the Diavolo- a riff on a classic pepperoni- equally good. Yes, the pies are big but thin so you can devour many slices easily. We started with the zucchini flowers which were decadently rich with flavor mixed with the mozza. Lovely Italian wines by the glass were available. And the affogato delivered! Pouring espresso over ice cream, then sopping up the sweetness quickly was a pure delight. The ambiance is laid back but classy. Truth be told I miss the former resident-- Cafe des Artistes-- but this is a worthy replacement. Definitely on my top ten pizzas list.

      Seated via Yelp Reservations

Decided on this place based on Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. The patio seating is cozy, intimate and fun. We were greeted by friendly smiles and fully welcomed in. Our waiter Anthony was friendly and answered our questions, he was well versed on menu items and was able to make great recommendations. We started with a beet salad and scallops. The salad was fresh, beets were generous. The scallops were perfection and the cauliflower sauce with truffle shavings completed the taste. We ordered the díavola pizza which was was extremely close to the Italy version and approved by a picky diner who is always on the search for that authentic spicy salame. We also ordered from the lunch menu the tagliatelle with shrimp in a subtle lemon cream sauce which was an explosion of flavors. For dessert we went with the tiramisu and a latte.

I highly recommend dining here. The staff is ready to make your dining experience amazing so don't hesitate to ask. Their diners are friendly people as well and it's Hollywood so you may spot some familiar faces ;)

This restaurant used to have authentic, Neapolitan style pizza but during my most recent visit I noticed the quality of their pizza has gone down, specifically the cheese used and the consistency of the crust. Fortunately, the other menu items are still top quality and some of the best in LA!

Pictures attached for reference comparing the margherita pizza from June 2023 vs May 2024. Their crust has changed, and cheese is noticeably different.

Located in Hollywood and Belmont Shore, Long Beach, L'Antica Da Michele offers a taste of Italy (without the plane ride) with its authentic pizzas available for takeout.

The Margherita and Diavola pizzas at L'Antica Da Michele are a true delight, with flavors that will transport you to Naples, Italy. While the pizzas are good, they may not quite reach the same level as the original Naples spot.

Having spent a on and off again rainy day at the HSBC SVNS LAX, we opted for takeout from da Michele. L'Antica Da Michele USA offers a more high-end experience compared to the hole-in-the-wall charm of the Naples location, where long, 2-3 hour, waits are the norm.

L'Antica Da Michele in Hollywood offers a taste of authentic Italian pizza, without passport. It may not be as goos as the original Naples spot. It's definitely a good Napoli-style pizza.

I very much look forward to dining in at the Belmont Shore location and trying the other delicious dishes on the menu.

Came here to celebrate Valentine's Day with my fiancé and everything was so delicious. I love pasta and don't get it often, so it's such a treat to have. We ordered the meatballs, Bolognese Tagliatelle, and the Diavola pizza. The meatballs were soo delicious and I was surprised when they brought out bread with it! The bread was delicious. Everything was a 5/5 for us and we shared everything and was so full afterwards.

There is valet parking across the street and it's like typical LA prices so..expensive lol. We ended up finding street parking close by. The restaurant is very pretty and love the ambiance here!
