This place is adorable and useful. The hours are great (read they are open when the ace hardwares of downtown are closed and you need another screw or two for your project) there's both new and reclaimed hardware. The people who work there are really nice and helpful. Parking is super easy.

I've been coming here for years and it just keeps getting better and better. This is the type of place where you can go and they really care about the project you're working on. They will explain things to you, and take time to show you what to do. There is always someone to help me and it seems like they are always open despite what the hours on yelp say so just call before you decide to not go based on that. Likely they are open.
They are also a lot more affordable than Home Depot!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 13, 2014
This place is good in a pinch, but no substitute for ACE or the Depot. The young guy that works there, I don't know his name, is great! Super helpful. I also like that there is a cat that roams the aisles. If you sit in the chair near the entrance, the cat will jump in your lap and give you some love.
I agree with Andrew J. - If this place actually was in Haiti, it wouldn't be any different.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lefter T.Wheaton, IL104311Jun 14, 2018
Typical Caribbean hustle operation but solid when something is needed quick, accepts crypto and you do get taken back in time once on premises to post colonialism era on an island.

If this hardware store was actually in Haiti, it probably wouldn't be much different. No fancy air conditioning here, just open doors and ceiling fans, Caribbean music playing and a friendly Creole speaking staff.
They have everything you need including lumber and building supplies for less than Ace. Cold drinks, coffee and fried chicken too!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jacques L.Miami, FL03Nov 12, 2014
Great place to get just about anything you need. This is definitely a traditional hardware store - one of those places that makes you wonder "how do the people who work here know where anything is?" Luckily the staff are friendly and courteous, and they know where everything is. And to top it off, their prices are amazing.
I don't go to any other place unless they absolutely don't have what I need.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
