Redmans' Farm established in 1941, is a 5th generation working farm, nestled in the valley of southern Kenton County Kentucky, bordering the Licking River. The Redman Family invites your family to join ours for a day on the farm. If you want a quick stop for fresh local produce or to make a day of it, we are what you are looking for. From the garden we offer the season's freshest local produce, flowers, cut flowers, and hanging baskets. Stay a little longer and introduce the kids to our friendly farm animals and bring a fishing pole to enjoy a peaceful day on our lake. To end the day visit Redmans' Farm Winery for a glass of wine and conversation by the fire. We also carry fruit wines in dry, medium, and sweet, and wine slushies to cool down on warm days!

Very unique little wine farm. Very unassuming.
The owners were sitting on the porch when we got there. Very friendly folks.
I didn't enjoy the tasting room. Could def. use a little 'sprucing up.' It's not my grandma's kitchen, after all.
The wines were ok. I was ready to go when I heard the word 'goats.' Goats? They have goats! And tiny piggys! Suddenly the wine tasted so much better behind the barn with the adorable farm animals.
We don't live close by but I would visit this winery again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Stacy P.Tomball, TX096Aug 27, 2023
Very friendly and quiet family winery. It made for a nice road trip destination. They have event weekends that we will try in the future.

Cute little farm wayyy out in northern KY. They have a variety of wines to taste, tshirts to purchase, animals to see and a small hayride/pumpkin patch! They even had a small train pulled by a side by side. It was a very laid back cutesy little venue.

This was our last stop on the Backroads Wine Trail! Got my passport stamped (last one on my list) and my prize! I received a stone coaster for completing the trail. It is very nice!!!
All I have to say that this was a different and most unique winery I've been too.

I would not have thought this would be a winery pulling up. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was extremely packed, however we received great service. The lady working the counter was so nice and had great humor. The tasting room was very country and laid back. I thought it was okay, but maybe because I did not like the tables and chairs.
My friend did the wine tasting which was only $5.00 (unlimited and any on the list). She tried mostly whites and had me sample a couple. They were too sweet for me.
This is what they sell:
Strawberry
-Sweet Strawberry Wine
-Semi Sweet Strawberry Wine
-Sweet Blackberry Wine:
-Semi Sweet Blackberry Wine
White
-SWEET WHITE TABLE WINE
-DRY WHITE TABLE WINE
Red
-Sweet Red Table Wine
-Dry Table Red Wine
Apple
-Sweet Apple Wine
-Semi Sweet Apple Wine
Okay... here's what I found interesting. They had wine slushies! OMG!! This must be a popular kentucky local thing because I've never heard of it. The last winery (Atwood Winery) had it and I was skeptical on trying it. The lady gave us a sample, and I hate to say that I actually LOVED it! There was strawberry and blackberry wine flavors. My friend and I got the Blackberry. Was hooked that I got a cup to enjoy for only $5.00. :) Usually wineries offer Oyster Crackers for customers, not this place! They serve Cheez-it!! Don't get me wrong, I am addicted to that snack, but never thought it would go with a wine pairing. I was not complaining because I kept eating them!
This whole experience was very interesting. You just have to come here and find out for your self. I was not too fond of their wines (way too sweet for my palate), but loved the slushies (yeah, i know... I'm a sell out to the wine snobs/winos). It's a must try when you are here! Locals seem to love their fruity wines and it's what sells the most in that area.
But I do want to say Thank you for the excellent service and I did have fun! I left with a happy face, let's just put that way :)
I don't want to give this place a three star rating but 3.5.Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - John B.Cincinnati, OH40312052119Aug 10, 2016
Nice place, relaxing and rural. We wandered over to the farm and met some friendly animals. The smell was of course a little rough for us city folk. Ha ha. The lady inside at the tasting bar was very friendly and explained the history, wine, and answered any questions we had. The wines were typical sweet, mildly dry wines found in this area and just "ok" but the frozen wine slushy mix stuff they sell is phenomenal. Highly recommended. The patio outside the tasting room is great for sipping with your significant other our group.
Other than that, read Sandra's review for more detailed info. I love supporting local wineries and breweries and this place deserves your business. Great people and ok wine (that gets better with every glass, ha ;) )Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike L.Morning View, KY4415018Oct 18, 2016
I really liked this place (we had also been here recently with our kids). Albeit it was our forth stop but I'm a fan of the more laid back wineries. I love to get country folk instead of wine snobs when I stop at these places.
All the wines were a little sweeter than labeled.. usually I would buy a bottle of the sweet strawberry wine but I got the semi-sweet here. If your a dry fan they have a couple but your not gonna be happy.
The wine guy was super friendly and seemed to show a love of his wines vs what others thought of them.
As far as the other things to do during their Halloween festival it's all a little makeshift and maybe a little high priced but spend a couple bucks and the kids were happy for a few hours.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shawna S.Fort Thomas, KY1787Mar 31, 2019
Stopped here on a spring afternoon during a downpour and surprised the owner-we were the only visitors of the day. What a nice man-was accommodating and friendly. If you like sweet, fruity wines, this is your place. They had peach, strawberry, blackberry and raspberry dry wines, but they weren't really dry-more semi. This is a VERY country, casual location-unlike many others on the Backroads Wine Trail.
