Rundstück Warm

My first meal in Germany! TEN OUT OF TEN WOULD COME AGAIN AND I ACTUALLY MISS IT HERE. By the way, it's cash only here (had to go to an ATM just to grab cash).

I was going to save the burgers for my visit to Hamburg, but apparently the burgers here are based off Hamburg. I ordered the Chimmichuri burger here (and later ordered the same burger at a burger joint in Hamburg, yeah I still like this one better). The burgers look small, but are actually the perfect size :)

When it gets late, their outdoor seating gets closed off-- but that's fine, the place is cosy and the staff here are super nice.

Uh my favorite. I am so happy you exist.

Chimmichuri sauce is to die for.

The meat tastes excellent.

Fries could be better but what the hell, the burgers are so good who cares!

My standard order has the sauce, grilled onions, double bacon, giant meat portion and no bread. (Although I enjoy the toastbroetchen...) its freaking orgasmic.

Please stay forever. I want to eat you all of the time.

Really delicious! The burgers are a bit small but nonetheless awesome. Service is also very nice. Prepare to smell like roasted beef after your visit but it's worth it.

Really delicious and comforting burgers served on English muffins. Order at the counter, cash only. Seating indoors and out. Closing at the end of October. :(

The burger here was amazing. The meat and sauces were super tasty. If you're in Schillerkiez and you like burgers, skip Schillerburger and come here. It's a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth it. Way cozier and more flavorful and better cooked than Schillerburger. And they deliver!

So far I have always enjoyed the food there, as I love burgers and the special chorizo sandwich in particular. It takes a little time because it's prepared freshly but it's been worth the wait. My only complaint is that they don't open earlier in the day as I'm more of a lunch person but I guess the teams likes their free time, Berlin style.

After having some very strong burrito cravings, I decided to visit Rundstück, warm. This was a very loose interpretation of a burrito. I could count the number of individual beans on two hands. The sausage pieces, beans, veggies, and rice were all mixed before being rolled in the burrito. The burrito was 70% rice. Both salsas served with the burrito were not very spicy or flavorful. I know that it is difficult to buy good ingredients for burritos here in Berlin but it was still a disappointment.

It is a small place with a small staff, so we waited 30 minutes for our burritos. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting but the food did not deliver.
