How sad that my first experience with Saturs Farm will be my last. The honey was sweet but the 10% non disclosed fee to use a card was bitter.

I was the first customer of the day at the mobile location on Hodges Boulevard by JTB. I received a friendly greeting and let him know I was a first time customer. He offered me a taste and it was delicious. The honey sells itself.

One sign stated one jar for $30 or two jars for $50, the other sign said cash and card accepted. He used his cell phone with Foursquare to take my card payment. He wanted to hand me his phone but instead I hit the button for no tip, picked out two jars of honey and was on my way. I ran a few more errands, came home and checked my bank account. I purchased two jars for $50 and was charged $55.

I found the phone number for the business and called to inquire why I was charged an extra $5. I was advised there was a 10% card service fee which I acknowledged when the salesman handed me the phone. I didn't hold the phone, I hit no tip on the screen. Maybe the disclosure was on that page as the only other page I saw was a receipt was being emailed. The sun was shining on the phone so yes I could have missed the 10% fee notice, but I did not hit a button acknowledging it.

I'm disappointed that a 10% card fee (very high) would not be verbally disclosed by the seller. I felt I was taken advantage of and I do not appreciate that:( I would have gone to the bank and made a free withdraw to avoid the extra $5.

I want to support local businesses so I will find another local honey distributor for my needs in the future.

Pick these up off Hodges near JTB this morning. One for $30 or two for $50.

I have been indulging in raw honey for years and I will guarantee that this is not only the best I've ever had,it's actually the purest!
98 % of people buying honey don't know how to discern between honey that's been diluted. Corn syrup, rice syrup, sugar syrup or any combination of the three is mostly what they use. Visually, you can't see a difference and taste? We, it's all sweet so most folks will never know the difference. Finally, yes there is a convenience fee and if you don't want to pay it just bring cash or go across the street to Daisy's Place where ATM is free! It's downright ridiculous of people to slam these folks that sit out in the elements for 12 hours a day and you're bitching about a $2 or $3 fee that's right there on the screen in square? I hope Satur's Farm stays right where they are! These folks rock!

Purchased this delicious jar of honey from Saturs Farm and it was absolutely delicious.

I use it in my oatmeal every morning and my son puts it on his pancakes or French toast.

The quality is the best I've ever had. I asked specifically for a jar with a honey comb in it to savior and grab all the nutrients it offers. Everyone in my family fights for a spoonful of honey. I sometimes find myself in my pantry grabbing a spoon full of honey when I am wanting something sweet.

I definitely recommend and if something is delicious then to me it's certainly worth the price!

Sales staff was apathetic. Owner was vebally abusive. Then followed up online with more abuse. Ironic how they have such negative things to say on Yelp about other vendors.

I see other customers have posted on Yelp with the same complaints regarding misleading promotions.

You can buy local honey for far less than Satur's farm, even with Satur's fake discount promos.

Try the Backyard Beekeeper at the Green Market in Atlantic Beach. Weds and Sat mornings 10am-2pm. Very local honey at a fraction of the cost. Tasty too. And nobody will berate you. The nice Bee Keeper even says "Thank You". Support Local Businesses. Avoid Hostile ones.

Was charged and additional $10 for a bottle of honey with a local flavor deal which was $7.50 for a $15 bottle of honey.. so I basically paid $17.50 for the honey. When I mentioned the deal the woman was not helpful. I will support a different local honey farm next time.

Delicious local honey. We loved it with tea or on baked goods. Very nice local honey.
