Ordered catering for an event, the food was fresh and delicious. The combo meat platter was tasty and the mezza platter was super fresh. Everyone kept telling me how much they loved the food and asked me where I ordered it from. Will definitely order for catering again

I'm from San Diego but I've tried Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Sweden, Finland, and probably more. This was hands down the best chicken shawarma sandwich I've ever had.

Every ingredient tasted fresh and perfectly complimentary to the rest of the ingredients. Not too much bread, not too much vegetable, and just the right amount of extra flavor from the hot sauce.

I tried a piece of falafel as well, and this also is some of the best I've ever had. It's almost close to Indian aloo tiki, with a sharp, crunchy crust and a well-spiced mix in the middle that doesn't taste too strongly of herbs or oil.

The women who own the restaurant were friendly and helpful, and they run a good store. The interior is small without being cramped, and I love the mural.

I don't live here, but I would absolutely shove my friends toward it if I get the opportunity again.

I enjoy visiting Taboun for a quick lunch or dinner. Their vegetarian entrees are tasty. I appreciate the kindness of the staff every time I arrive.
Ordered through Yelp for pick-up this time and was slightly disappointed with the falafel was not even warm. (previously the falafels were fried right in front kitchen and served perfectly cooked and hot).
I suggest order at the counter upon arrival and wait for the meal for dine-in.
They have a lovely dining space.
My partner was not impressed by the chicken shwerma wrap...

Ordered Chicken shwarma wrap, Veggitarrian Combo comes with hummus, babaganoosh, cucumber Salad, taboule, pita, falafel, grape leaves: so good! I ordered extra falafel & hummus to go with the Shwarma wrap dinner. Dinner for two people and leftovers also! Great quality, great food.

We had a fabulous luncheon today and everything was delicious!!! It's a rarity to find a place that makes fresh falafels!!! Actually they make everything fresh!! The place is so charming and the owners are very welcoming. We ordered almost everything and everything thing was perfect I wish the photos were better but we couldn't wait to dive right in. Portions are very generous. We had the lamb & beef shiskabobs over rice, the hummus, bobaganush, dolmas, tabouli, falafels, chicken shawarma wrap along with their home made hot sauce. YUM!!!!

Absolutely BEST Mediterranean place around!! I'm Middle Eastern and I've been to many middle eastern/Mediterranean places around the country and this is by far the best I've ever had. This taste just like the food in the Middle East and is truly authentic and fresh. The Shawirma wraps are packed with meat and veggies and delicious sauce. The kebabs are tender meat cubes that taste so good over rice as a dinner plate with two sides. There's plenty of veggie options here too. Falafel, hummus, eggplant wrap, and veggie combo just to name a few. The salads are great as well. my favorite is Tabouleh which is a popular salad in the region. Please do yourself a favor and try this great place out! You won't be disappointed!

I walked into this quiet spot for lunch after a long morning at the hospital. I was happy to see they had Chicken Shawarma on the menu. The restaurant was quiet around 2 PM, and I could see the meat cooking behind the counter. I was excited to taste it!

I ordered the Shawarma with a fizzy mineral water. The chicken wasn't as tasty as I hoped, though. It needed more seasoning, and didn't have the strong flavors I expected from Shawarma. On the bright side, it wasn't tough, and there were lots of fresh veggies in the wrap like cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. There were also some pickles which added a nice tang.

But for $14, I was expecting a lot more flavor. It's a bit too much money for a meal that didn't wow me. I don't think I'd go back for the Chicken Shawarma. The place was nice, and the service was fast, but the food just didn't match up to the price.

I am so grateful this place is near my home! Excellent, efficient, well-priced mediterranean takeout. Generous portions and super friendly staff - and it's family owned. We go here multiple times a month and it always makes me happy.

Not the ambiance for dining in but a lovely purchase experience! Just call for pick up and it's usually ready in 10.

I'm a fan of their falafel especially - the falafel bowl and deluxe falafel wrap are great. The chicken and eggplant wraps are also good but I pretty much never stray from the falafel.

I came here for lunch yesterday with my best friends & was pleasantly surprised! One of them recommended this spot but since he hadn't been here for a few years we were worried it wouldn't be as good. Luckily it exceeded our expectations!

It's a smaller place and a little pricer but the portions are definitely worth it! I ordered the beef shish kebab with Taboun salad & falafel. They accidentally gave me baba ghanouj instead so ended up giving me some falafel on the side. I didn't mind and it would've been okay if they didn't give me the falafels but really appreciated that Jose went above and beyond to correct it. My best friends ordered the lamb-beef shawarma plate & the lamb shish kebab plate.

The beef shish kebab, lamb-beef patties & the lamb shish kebab were all so good & smelled delicious! My friend said the humus was a little too sour for her. I really liked the Taboun salad because it was the perfect amount of citrus. And the falafels, omg the falafels!!! So perfectly golden brown, crispy and flavorful! I didn't try the baba ghanouj since eggplant is not my thing but my friends did say it was really good.

I'll definitely have to come back since my bf loves falafels too!

I don't like the .75 surcharge to use credit or debit card when the food is already SO expensive. The prices keep rising and rising, prob why foot traffic slowed down.

Also, the lady did not wash her hands making my falafel wrap. She came straight from touching front door handle, prepared my food and cashier.
