Was here on Saturday to attend the Dessert Wars festival - the parking lot was very overwhelming because there were multiple events on the same day. There are lettered/numbered headers in the parking lot so you can remember where you parked.

Since there are multiple events, there are also multiple halls so just keep that in mind when you're looking for your event.

The hall we were in was huge. There was plenty of room to walk around but the space did feel a bit empty but that's due to the number of vendors present.

I might be back again depending on what future events take place.

      Dessert wars festival!

Came here for a cat show hosted by Loving Cats Worldwide starring Steven Meserve. Incredible event and very kind vendors. The event space was very spacious and was accessible. This event hosted about 500 people?? Great place to host events like these, the staff are very friendly and the parking is free!

I was looking back on pictures and completely forgot to post about the Reptiles Exhibition. We attended as a big group to the Reptiles Exhibition on September 10, 2022.

The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center was a huge space. When you walk in, there are organized rows, separated booths showing many different reptiles. From snakes, geckos, salamanders, equipment, or food to help with your pet - all your essentials and questions were all here. A few other booths had random plants, pins, stickers, and different varieties sold there.

A few booths allowed you to hold snakes or other reptiles if you ask, or they would make an announcement. It was my first time holding a snake, her name was Lucy, and it was so cool.

The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center holds many different venues through the year. I'm glad we went and what a fun few hours it was spent together with other enthusiasts.

I was there for a cheer competition and felt like I came home with at least 5 contagious diseases. The place was filthy with overflowing trash cans, restrooms with several stalls out of order, long lines at the one concessions stand and vending machines out of order. Not enough parking for events and the lots don't feel safe. Awful. Not looking forward to the next competition in January.

Review for the venue set up for Cirque de AMALUNA:

It was a rainy and humid day so I figured with an outdoor tent things would get a little warm. But they kept the tent well regulated and controlled with lots of ac. I was actually a little on the cool side. The tent itself was sturdy as well, I had no idea until stepping outside after the show that it started back up raining.

The outdoor bathrooms were step up from the typical port a potties. It was an actual flushable toilet. But the actual port a potty was very narrow and the toilet paper dispenser is on the door which narrows the space even more. There's a few larger handicap accessible stalls along with VIP bathrooms.

They had a concierge where you could upgrade your seat tickets for $10 but the line moved very slowly.

      2 different lounge areas.

Typical concessions with $12 for a beer.

All in all it exceeded my expectations (which to be far had been pretty low).

      Cirque Du Soleil - Amaluna

My first elite yelp event and despite the hour plus drive there and back it was well worth it. The costumes were colorful, full of detail and utterly amazing. The dancing, singing, music and acrobatic talent was fabulous. The tent was air conditioning which in the summer is much needed. The bathroom situation was port a potties which I am not a fan of but they did have a few handicap/family ones which comes with a flushing toilet and sink.... a must have in my book. Overall an amazing evening.

My mother and I received free tickets courtesy of YELP for Cirque du Soleil Volta and attended the show on 7/18/18. I've never actually been to a Cirque du Soleil, but have always thought highly of their performances. I'm told that the location of the "circus tent" used to be a vacant lot (or maybe just grass), but over the past couple of months it's been leveled and paved just for this performance.

Cirque du Soleil is like the American version of Moulin Rouge, but better (err'y thing is better in 'Murcia) and essentially eliminates the animal cruelty aspects of the actual circus and leaves just the cool acrobatics.

Stunts aside, we very much enjoyed the little "broken laundromat" gig with Mr. Wow. The poor performer messed up a bit, but played it off with humor and provided that much needed break up from the "not knowing where to look in fear of missing something amazing" craze that took place every time an acrobat stunt took place.

VOLTA featured trampoline stunts, acrobatics, double dutch athletes, BMX biking tricks, roller blade babes, baton twirlers, and some dude who looks like Jack Frost, but with abs and a killer aerialist routine? Sure sign me up. During the trapeze and rings section there was so much stimulation I didn't know where to look, but also didn't want to look away.

If I had one complaint it was the unfulfilled flag twirling potential presented by the roller blade babe. If you're going to have a baton twirler come out and do some basic tricks, you should probably attempt to really wow them with the underrated sport of color guard as well.

If you've ever wondered what happens to washed up gymnasts, baton twirlers and guard kids after DCI and WORLDS, Cirque du Soliel is it. Not in a bad way, just using their obscure talents for the pleasure of others. Thoroughly enjoyed the show hats for sure.

Attended the Philly Chocolate Wine and Whiskey Festival on February 18th. Wow - unbelievably disappointing. They ran out of glasses for the second session and gave us one plastic cup. If you threw it out by mistake, you were out of luck. We could not purchase the wine or whiskey. Worse yet, most of the people pouring had no idea what they were pouring, like what is the difference between a Chardonnay and a Cabernet. Some of them were clueless. We found one woman who was knowledgeable about every single wine. This was an expensive show that was amateur and definitely not worth the price. Save your money. I can get wine and whiskey samples at our PA Wine and Spirit stores. If you want to attend a great show, save your money for TastePhilly.

I most recently visited The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks for the Cirque De Soleil VOLTA experience and I was thrilled with how well the entire show was executed - this event space has so much to offer!

There was a large tent set up in the event space where the Cirque De Soleil show was presented. As soon as I pulled up, I had my hesitations but my fears quickly diminished. The entire ticketing process was set up well - from will call, to the security check, to admission, everything went so smoothly. Prior to walking to our seats, my group walked through a large room filled with food, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and souvenirs available for purchase. Everything was moderately priced in my opinion.

The tent where the show took place was set up well, with enough space to navigate your way through groups to find your seat. There was also staff located at each corner to help you find your way.

The VOLTA show was magnificent! There were so many moments where I had to pick my jaw up off the floor from what I was seeing! The performers and acrobats are truly a talented group of people. I hope our applause and smiles helped to convey our message of pure awe and enjoyment!

I would definitely be interested in visited this venue again for another show. I'll have to keep on a look out for other cool and exciting things they have lined up!

Went to the expo center to see Cirque Du Soleil : Volta ! This is a review of that experience. There was ample parking and nothing was really that far away. The staff overall was super friendly aside from the guy at the ticket booth. He wasn't very nice.
I liked the bathroom set up they had it was a little bit nicer than port a potty. They had concessions but they were sooo expensive. $12 for a popcorn , which grant it got you a refill but still it seemed a bit much! The cheapest alcohol was bud light at $14. Who even likes bud light?
Overall inside the tent was nice. Decently lit and enough space. The risers could have stood to be slightly more elevated as I had a very hard time seeing ahead of the person in front of me.
The performers were incredible ! The acts followed a story which was a little strange. It had a great message but was just a little weird. However all the performances were great. I think I liked the unicyclist the best as well as the girl who was towards the end, flying from her bun! It's an event I would definitely go see. I will also have to check out more at Oaks since this was a good experience!
