The Honey Baked Ham Company

So very disappointed. I ordered a chocolate cake for $44.00. It was terrible. Looked like it was frozen and then defrosted. It was smashed up. It just crumbled. You couldn't even slice it.

Decided to add ham to our traditional turkey Thanksgiving meal this year. Honey baked may be a little more expensive than others; but that old saying "you get what you pay for" is true. It is so so delicious, and I had a coupon. Even though I had pre ordered and paid online, I anticipated a long wait to pickup. Pleasantly, that was not the case. The store was fully staffed, and everyone was wearing masks correctly. There was a greeter at the door to direct customers to the appropriate line. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Really was impressed with the efficiency. Now, I am faced with the challenge of not digging in until the holiday.

Best ham salad hands down and I don't even like ham salad!!! Ham bones are loaded with meat great for beans!!

Jesus christ, have you priced ham lately? Apparently HBHC thinks their ham is injected with raw, uncut emeralds and rubies.

We got a 1/4 ham and paid about $60. Holy hell, kiss me on the neck first.

So we went in there, obviously, to pick up a ham and while we were there we each, my wife and I, got a sammich. I also got the ham and bean soup which I'll get into more detail later.

It's later, ok so it was some damn fine soup.

I honestly forget what I had to eat but I think it was something to the effect of a club? Tomato, lettuce, ham, turkey? It was quite good. But then what would you expect out of a sandwich that was made from ham and turkey that has been basted in the tears of south asian water red tailed deer fawn. (apparently)

Would I go back at lunch for another sandwich some time? Probably.

Would I choose to get another ham at some point? Fk. No.

Oh, the ham was good though, don't get me wrong. Not worth the price of adopting a Norwegian baby, but it was good.

I have been shopping here for many many years. this year, I broke my ankle, and had to rely on my husband to take my list and go with it. I called earlier this week, to preorder my smoked turkey breast for Christmas. They told me, as often in the past, no need to pre order, we have plenty.
I was soooo disappointed when my husband called, and told me they could only sell him a roasted breast, as smoked were for pre paid orders only.
Being kind of an emotional wreck, I called, and they were very nice and fixed it for us, although it sounded like it wasn't customary at all to only offer roasted! Thank you so much! You're thoughtfulness didn't go unnoticed. Merry Christmas!

The service was amazing. The staff was super helpful!! I was able to sample the various types of turkey and decided on a roasted full turkey. And added a jar of the cranberry chutney ... so good!

Picked up lunch here. Ordered the Any Two which was the Ham/ Bean Soup which was very delicious! And the Cobb Salad which was also delicious. They said they were out of cheese which didn't much matter. But who does the inventory? Someone should have caught that.

Stopped by this afternoon at 1pm and ordered a Tavern Club sandwich for takeout. It is one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. Everything was perfect. Perfect amount of condiments, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. Staff is very friendly, and courteous. It has a substantial amount of ham.

So I'm only rating on the lunch, they serve. So I got a sandwich, on bakery roll. But it wasn't a legit bakery roll. It came out of a big bag of bread. Like the ones you see at Sam's Club. On the sandwich I had roasted turkey, bacon, lettuce, & mayo. Overall the sandwich was okay. It wasn't something that I would be craving. I feel it's a bit overpriced, $7. More worth $3-5. So I don't think I'll be back. But on a good note, I received a free bag of chips & soda, for checking in on yelp!

I went here for lunch today, only one girl behind the counter and I could see 3 or more people in the back doing nothing, I was second in line, it took forever, then I told her I had 2 orders, so she took my 1st order and was making that, and it seemed like nothing could be found behind the counter, as the line keep getting longer, finally another lady and a man came from the back, so he took my order since the 1st girl was working on making the other lunch I ordered, and then he walked away, he never made my lunch, so the 1st girl gave me the orginal order and asked if I got my 2nd order, I advised no, so she had to make it, the man disappeared again. The 2nd girl tried to help, but it was so unorganized and the 2 girls where the only ones doing anything. They where nice, but the man was not helpful at all, he didn't know where anything was. I will never go back. and the ham and been soup sucked, just beans not flavor.
