Great spot, the service is amazing, I loved the food everything was wonderful, I highly recommend their cocktails, tuna tartar, the octopus and the steak was perfectly cooked, delicious lobster ravioli

This is one of the best restaurant lounges I've been to in NYC. The music was AMAZING and the food was very good for the price. They had limited seating at the time, but that was probably due to a private event. The food was delicious and the service was quick and great. Make sure to stop by for a dinner!

Failure to launch! Unfortunately the Ruby is all hype, smoke and mirrors. Really very hard to believe the "5 star" reviews for The Ruby since they don't don't correlate to the experience and must be friends. The menu needs a complete overhaul. Rigatoni from a cocktail shaker, where did that idea come from. Wanted to like this place but with so many better options within easy walking distance this is not the place unfortunately. Service is fine and the room is nice.

Visited the Ruby Bar and Grill on the last week of Restaurant Week! For the $60 dinner we had an appetizer, entree and dessert option. Tucked in the bustling blocks of SOHO. This spot is a perfect cozy and intimate spot to take your lady. Not gonna lie at first I was a little nervous because it was pretty empty but nevertheless we stayed and I'm glad we did! The staff was courteous and pleasant. we started off with the signature drink The Ruby, which was nice and strong.
I will definitely be returning to this spot.
Now here's what I had...


Appetizers
*Fried Calamari w/Mariana Sauce (the surprise here was it wasn't just calamari, the dish included fried Squid as well as fried shrimp)

*Whipped Ricotta Crostini w/ honey, smoked rosemary and walnuts.

Entree
*Lobster Ravioli (stuffed with lobster and ricotta) in a lobster bisque sauce. Amazing, creamy and smooth sauce makes the dish.

*Octopus Burger- Octopus tail w/ (lime mayonnaise, arugula salad and burrata) let me tell you if you've never had octopus before please try this dish. It literally tasted like a Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich!! Freakin Amazing

Dessert
*Ruby Velvet Cake- moist and creamy cheese cake frosting, topped with cake crumble

*Gelato- Chocolate and Vanilla (soo smooth and light)

Went in a group of 4! we were definitely apprehensive at first because there wasn't a lot of people in there but that ended up changing before we headed out. we all got drinks apps for the table entrees and desserts. definitely recommend the lobster ravioli and the shaken cacio pepe even if the shaker is a bit gimmicky. solid 8 from the group and amazing service!

Wandered in alone...enjoyed a glass of red wine and fried Calamari at the bar (recipe designed by head chef, so tasty - highly recommend). Bartender was pleasant and rest of staff is very welcoming. Ended the evening there with the "sidekick" cocktail, might have been one of my fav tequila drinks I've ever had. Will visit again next time I'm in NY

Brooklyn Mirage vibes. Best DJs. Best time. Would move in here.
Ask for The Ruby. Super exclusive always sold out but a must try.

Took 1/2 to receive cocktails. I guess they were focused on their 9pm party rsvp
