Description:
This distinct damselfish is characterized by seven relatively broad dark bands on both the head and body. These bands, which include one behind the eye on top of the head, are wider than the pale interspaces. Additionally, a small spot is present at the upper pectoral-fin base. Some individuals may exhibit dark margins on their fins.
