SAP-ISU
In this blog, I will discuss one of the SAP Module which is designed in such way to help Utilities Industry know as SAP-ISU(Industry Standard Utilities).
SAP-ISU deals with the following Industries.
- Electric.
- Wastewater and Water.
- Gas
I had a erudite of knowledge on Electric Industry. Electric Industry incorporate with generation, transmission, distribution, retail.
In SAP-ISU we have some basic Terminology.
- Contract: A contract is the legal agreement with this business partner and the Company for a particular service.
- Business Partner: A Business Partner can be A Person or An Organization with company will maintain business for that service.
- Contract Account: It will contain the business information of Business Partner , such as Name Address, billing Address, etc.
- Connection Object: It refers a physical location where service will be provided.
- Premise: A Premise represent a Service Address[ House, Flat, Apartment, etc ].
- Device: It consists of meter which is used to read energy consumption.
- Division: It is the service provided to the customer it may be electric, water, gas, etc.
- Installation: For an electric a device with Meter contains register the has billing rate that is specific according to Business Partner used for billing purpose.
- Master data: which contains the TMD and BMD information, TMD stands for Technical Master Data and BMD Business Master Data.
BMD data contains Customer Information [Business Partner, Contract Account, Contract] and TMD data contains Property information [Premise, Installation, Connection Object].
Scenario
There will be a case where service provider will Move In [Enroll] the customer, or after some time it will Move out [Drop] the customer, or want to change means adding meter or removing meter or meter exchange, or change in address name etc [Change Move-in, Change Move-out], or if company wants to know the Consumption for particular Contract Account which means Historical Usage, or Cancel the Contract if no longer distribution will be done [Cancel Move-in Cancel Move-out].
ISU has some Minor Modules:
- Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable[FICA].
- Billing and Invoice[BI].
- Device Management Service Operation[DMSO].
- Customer Service[CS]
Some standard Table and T-Code we should now.

- BP - BUT000 (and all other BUT* tables).
- Contract Account - FKKVK and FKKVKP.
- Contract - EVER.
- Premise - EVBS.
- Address - ADRC.
- Installation - EANL.
- Installation with time slice - EANLH.
- Installation POD - EUIISTLN.
- Installation Device - EASTL.
Transaction Codes :
- Create Business Partner - BP.
- Create Contract Account - CAA1.
- Create Connection Object - ES55.
- Create Premise - ES60.
