Obituary of Janiya Bethany Harris-Conquest

Janiya Bethany Harris Conquest was born on June 20, 1997 at our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ. She was the oldest daughter born to Ms. Brehana Conquest and Family. Janiya attended the Camden and Gloucester County School District. She graduated from Winslow High School Class of 2014. She excelled in Computer Technology, Music and Art. She attended Camden County College for Computer Science. Her last job was at Macy's Deptford Mall. Janiya was a social butterfly of which many called her Niy-Budda. Making friends seemed to be her favorite past time. Janiya's interest included cosmetology, fashion and design and she briefly modeled for Americas Best Talent and became a recruiter. Her natural beauty along with her angelic voice, smile and deep set dimples were mesmerizing. Janiya started attending Bethany Baptist Church at an early age with her grandparents who reared her. She was baptized at age 11. Janiya was developing a closer relationship with the Lord through daily devotion and rededicated her life to the Lord this past July 2016. Janiya leaves to cherish her memories: Her Mother Brehana Conquest, her Big Brother Shamar Conquest who was her ride or die, Her Grandmother who raised her Wanda Conquest Morales and Ed Morales, her grandmother Cassandra Harris, her Aunts Tomeya Conquest Hall and Shaunte Harris, her siblings Michayla, Mikail, Madyson, August, Masen, Bryson, Ziare and Zaden. Along with a host of other family and friends including: The Conquest Family, Morales Family, Robertson Family, Sheckleford Family, Warren Family, Cream Family, Bailey Family, Martinez Family, Faison Family, Watkins Family, making special mention of her dearest friend India Brooks along with Patlen Trye, Carmeecia Bryant, Naje' Jackson and Alexis Paskins.
