Second heart sound splitting

Normally: on inspiration there is splitting in A2 and P2. On expiration both A2 and P2 heard a single sound. Fixed Splitting: on inspiration and expiration there is a fixed Splitting between A2 and P2 seen in ASD. Wide Splitting: in which splitting between A2 and P2 varies on inspiration and expiration seen in pulmonary stenosis and Right bundle branch block. Paradoxical Splitting: there is the reverse of the normal heart sound splitting seen in aortic stenosis and left bundle branch block
