Posen

As you drive from town to town trying to find a Home Of sign your mind will start to tell you to focus on the bigger towns (populations over 1,000) because you’re more likely to find a sign.

But Posen is a great example of why you can’t do that. With a population of just 234 (according to Wikipedia) it boasts one of the more unique festivals.

Posen is known for their “large” Polish population, and the Potato festival features a parade, 5k run, demolition derby and lots of Polka music. According to the young lady working in the gas station there may be a lot of drinking at the festival as well.

I would imagine they have a lot of good Polish food too (but probably not as good as my Grandma Leszczynski’s city chicken.
