The Armed Forces of Ukraine have seized the Russian electronic warfare weapon system RB-301B Borisoglebsk-2.

The Militarnyi reported about it.

The Ukrainian Ground Forces reported that the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade captured the system of electronic warfare of the Russian army.

“Over the past 24 hours, our troops have seized the enemy’s EW system, which will now work against the occupiers themselves,” the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade said.

Also in the Armed Forces noted that the enemy’s EW system will now work against the occupiers themselves.

Borisoglebsk-2 is a Russian, MT-LB ground vehicle mounted, multi-functional electronic warfare weapon system. It is designed to disrupt communications and GPS systems.

The Borisoglebsk-2 merges four types of jamming stations into a single system with a single control console which requires the operator to take decisions within seconds.

Borisoglebsk-2 includes several diesel generators. In addition, it is possible to supply power from existing civil or industrial infrastructure.

In this case, the vehicles of the system can be connected to a network with a voltage of 220 or 380 V and a frequency of 50 Hz.

The complex consists of equipment of different types, designed to solve a wide range of tasks. There are means of radio-technical intelligence, designed to detect radio signals and transmit data about them to other elements of the complex.

There is also a vehicle with equipment for interfering. All stages of combat operations are carried out under the control and command of the self-propelled control point, which processes data on detected signals and gives instructions to suppression systems.

The 10th Mountain Assault Brigade is a mountain warfare brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, also known as “Edelweiss.”
