Volkanovski can become the ninth fighter in UFC history to win titles in two weight classes.

Volkanovski is one of four fighters in UFC history to make an title defense after losing a championship bout (the group is 4-0), along with Israel Adesanya, Max Holloway and B.J. Penn. He accomplished the feat at UFC 290.

Volkanovski’s six victories in UFC featherweight championship bouts are second-most in divisional history behind Jose Aldo (eight).

Volkanovski is one of four fighters in UFC history to start 12-0 with the promotion. Anderson Silva, Kamaru Usman and Nurmagomedov also accomplished the feat.

Kamaru Usman

Kamaru Usman (20-3 MMA, 15-2 UFC) enters the event on the first losing skid of his career. He hasn’t earned a victory since November 2021.

Khamzat Chimaev

Khamzat Chimaev (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) returns to the middleweight division for the first time since September 2020. He’s 1-0 with the promotion in the weight class.

Chimaev has earned 11 of his 12 career victories by stoppage. He’s finished eight of those wins in Round 1.

Chimaev absorbed just one significant strike in his opening four UFC appearances, the least of any fighter in company history.

Walker has earned 19 of his 21 career victories by stoppage. He’s finished six of his seven UFC wins by first-round knockout.

Walker is one of 10 fighters in UFC history to earn a knockout stemming from a spinning back fist. He accomplished the feat at UFC on ESPN+ 2.

Walker is one of two fighters in UFC history to win a light heavyweight bout by knockout stemming from a flying knee. James Irvin also accomplished the feat.

Walker is one of five fighters in modern UFC history to win a light heavyweight bout by knockout in 15 seconds or less. He accomplished the feat at UFC on ESPN+ 2.

Mokaev has earned seven of his 10 career victories by stoppage. He’s earned all three of his UFC finishes by submission.

Mokaev landed 12 takedowns in his win at UFC Fight Night 208, tied for the single-fight record for a three-fight UFC flyweight bout.

Mokaev’s 58-second finish at UFC Fight Night 204 marked the second-fastest submission in UFC flyweight history behind Ben Nguyen’s 49-second win at UFC Fight Night 110.

Mike Breeden

Mike Breeden’s (10-6 MMA, 0-3 UFC) three-fight losing skid is he longest of his career. He hasn’t earned a victory since May 2021.

Nathaniel Wood

Nathaniel Wood (20-5 MMA, 7-2 UFC) is 3-0 since he moved up to the featherweight division in July 2022.

Jinh Yu Frey

Jinh Yu Frey’s (11-9 MMA, 2-5 UFC) three-fight losing skid is the longest of her career. She hasn’t earned a victory since July 2021.
