Iraq Condemns Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity in Gaza at Human Rights Council

The Head of Human Rights Department Ambassador Abdul Kareem Tuama Mahdi Kaab, delivered Iraq’s speech at the Human Rights Council in Geneva at the General Debate session under agenda item two, in which he condemned the genocide and crimes against humanity committed by the occupying entity in the Gaza Strip, in addition to demanded for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, and implement all measures to prevent genocide and holding its perpetrators accountable in accordance with the measures of the International Court of Justice, as well as immediately and unconditionally allowing the entry of humanitarian aid into all parts of the Gaza Strip in quantities that fits the needs of the population. Ambassador Kaab also rejected in his speech the forcible displacement of citizens from their cities and stressed the necessity of Providing basic services necessary for life in accordance with international humanitarian law and international human rights law
