Newark, Ohio cancer survivor Larry Pettet and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Tanner Gray will have a unique reunion this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Pettet is an avid NASCAR fan and attended a race at Martinsville Speedway last fall as a guest of Gray. His name was above the driver's side window of Gray's truck.

Pettet is a cancer survivor who took part in The NASCAR Foundation's Honor a Cancer Hero auction, in which fans can bid to have their cancer hero's name placed on the signature panel of their favorite driver's race vehicle. Proceeds from the auction benefit The NASCAR Foundation and Martin Truex Jr. Foundation.

A fan of Gray, Pettet was nominated by a friend.

Gray and Pettet will have a unique reunion this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Instead of having his name on Gray's truck, Pettet's business, Advanced Business Communications, Inc., has partnered with Gray and his team, David Gilliland Racing, to sponsor the truck at the O'Reilly Auto Parts 150.

This is the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' first trip to Mid-Ohio.

In the ARCA Menards Series Dawn 150 at Mid-Ohio Friday evening, Taylor Gray took ARCA Menards Series Advanced Business Communications, Inc. to victory lane.
