It’s one of the busiest travel weekends of the year, and passengers flying out of Bozeman or Missoula need to give themselves a little extra time to get there.

According to the Transportation Security Administration, Labor Day air travel is up 11% from last year.

The TSA predicts they’ll screen nearly 14 million travelers nationwide.

With more travelers come longer lines, so passengers should be prepared to wait.

“It’s expected to be a very busy holiday weekend -- one of the busiest that we’ve seen for the most recent years. I would just tell our customers to get here early,” Missoula Montana Airport director Brian Ellestad said.

Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international travel.

Ellestad says everyone should expect full flights this weekend.
