Joe Cook Appointed Regional Managing Principal, Northwest U.S.

28-year Cushman & Wakefield Veteran Will Deepen Client Relationships and Expand Platform

San Francisco, CA, January 6, 2017 – Joe Cook has returned to a senior leadership position as the firm’s Regional Managing Principal, Northwest U.S. Joe has most recently worked as an advisor to Mike Smith, President of Cushman Wakefield’s West Region.

Based in San Francisco, Mr. Cook will implement the West Region’s strategic initiatives throughout Northern California and Oregon, as well as ensure these markets realize their full potential and continue to provide superior client service.

In addition to being in an advisory role, Mr. Cook’s most recent positions were President, West Region and Chief Operating Officer, U.S. Markets. He also served on the firm’s Global Executive Committee in the year preceding the merger of DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield.

When Mr. Cook joined the firm in 1988, he spent seven years as Regional Counsel for the West Region before moving into a management role.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Cook was in private practice as a real estate attorney, and is licensed in California as an attorney and broker. Mr. Cook is a member of CoreNet, ULI, NAIOP, and ICSC, and has served as a panelist and lecturer for continuing education programs for both attorneys and brokers.

Mr. Cook received his undergraduate degree with honors from Dartmouth College and a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco.
