Diana Zubiri doesn't mind playing Janella Salvador's mother

11 Mar – She may be too young to play Janella Salvador's mother in "Dragon Lady", but according to Diana Zubiri, it's all worth it when you have an excellent storyline.

As reported on PEP, the 33-year-old actress, who was asked about her role in the Kapuso series, shared that she fell in love with the story when she read it, realising how beautiful and challenging her character would be.

"I thought we have to try that role so that I can show my worth as an actress," she said.

Zubiri added that her character in the drama is nothing like what she was used to, and she didn't think twice about playing the role, despite the fact that she is only four years older than Salvador in real life.

Directed by Paul Sta. Ana, "Dragon Lady" stars Janella Salvador as Celestina, who possesses a mysterious dragon statue that will bring luck and misfortune into her life.

The series co-stars James Blanco, Maricar de Mesa, and Joyce Ching.
